Dark Power Pro P10 1000w - GPU Issue

Hey guys, I recently was given a semi-decent rig without a graphics card. Unfortunately the PCI-e cables to connect my GPU were not provided.

I am now trying to figure out how to connect my GPU to the Dark Power Pro P10 1000w. The PCI-e slot on the PSU has 12 pins, where as my GPU has a 8 pin connector.

I looked up the specs of the PSU and I am told the PCI-E cables that came initially are a 6+2 Pin connector. Although looks like it wouldn't fit.

Would this be sufficient to power my GPU?

The pinouts are different from one PSU to another. You can't just get a random cable and expect it to work.

Try contacting be quiet, and see if they are able to provide it.

That was the last option I hoped to resort to, although it makes complete sense. Thank-you.

be quiet tends to be send one or two cables without too much problems. Don't know why you are so hesitant??

But if you want to buy, you have two options:
https://geizhals.de/be-quiet-sleeved-power-cable-cp-6620-bc071-a1857268.html <- two cables on one 12pin Connector

https://geizhals.de/be-quiet-sleeved-power-cable-cp-6610-bc070-a1857260.html <- one cable per 12pins

BTW:
This is a Seasonic made unit, based on the older XM Version.
