Choosing a new daily driver

I am looking for a new daily driver since my current phone is a damaged iPhone SE that the side of the screen can't work anymore
my current cell provider (ROGERS) gives me the option for a pixel 3 or a iPhone 8+ and I am leaning towards the Pixel 3 for the camera since I am always on snapchat and instagram a lot.

Current apps I use

Instagram
Snapchat

YouTube 
and the occasional game or two.

I also like the idea for USB-C which is nice and Android Pie is a nice Operating System which I can modify to my hearts desire.

Anyways tell me if I should stay with my choice for the Pixel 3 or just get a iPhone 8+

 

and before someone says anything, these are my only two options that I actually want.

Pixel 3 is newer. iPhone 8+ is last year model and has a worst camera.

Pixel 3 for Pictures, iPhones for Videos (no smarpthones makes better videos than iPhones, period).

 

But please, don't get the 8 / 8+ with their 9 year old Crappy design. Take the iPhone X instead, or Xr even. MUCH more sense, than 8 or 8+ with their way too huge bezels.
