How is the headphone sound quality of the Pocophone F1?

GSMAreana review said the volume was lower than average and I read a couple of threads on XDA that sound is flat with no bass and distortion.

Can anyone who has used different phones in this price bracket tell me how the audio compares to other phones?

Audio quality is my sole criteria for buying phone. I dont care about the specs.

The DAC's in most phones are pretty comparable. There aren't many manufacturers that actually spend more than they need to on that part. 

 

If audio is your priority then best bet would be to get a portable dac and a phone that is compatible with USB audio devices. 

 

Companies like oppo make some lovely portable DAC's.

Have a look at the fiio e17k as a decent budget option

 

Or something like the oppo ha-2 if you've got money to burn
