I was wondering if it was possible to order  from american site in canada and get it dwlivered in canada ?

Any duty fees/tax /import feea ?

Yes, you can, usually. Depends on the company. The fees depend on the item you're importing and the value. At the very least, you'll have to pay tax, but you'd be paying that when you're buying in Canada anyways. You can use this to get a rough idea of what you'd be charged.

Do keep in mind that FedEx and UPS will charge brokerage and other fees associated with clearing an item through customs. USPS does not.

You might get charged duties which can be a pretty high percentage. If you live close to the border you can have parcels shipped to a receiving centre close to the border and pick it up. You don't typically get charged any duty for stuff under $250 were I live.

If it pass in the hand of DHL you are certainly screwed. Ordered something of value of 35$ got charges ~82$ (tax in) extra for customs payable to DHL directly. Ordered once from US and wont be again. Got friends that got screwed up as well more than once. I don't know how you can know how it will cost in advance or if it cost anything at all. Most of my orders go through China and Europe and they all include customs in their final price with shipping. If not i don't deal with them
