Gigabyte GTX 1080 WINDFORCE Power Question

vjizzle2384

So I went to gigabytes website to look at my graphic card that I have and seen that it says that it has an 8+2 power phase and will run cool, I don’t understand what that means does that mean I have 8 pins on my graphic card plus 2 pins, cause I only see 8 pin.

Nothing to do with the plugs, it is something to to with how consistent the power delivery is.

No, a phase isn’t a connector.

Clearly shows a single 8 pin on their site.

Same as any other 8 pin 1080 card.
