Which EVGA Power supply to buy

Don't need more than 550w in that machine.  Go G3 550.

That system will draw less than 300W, so if you want to stick with EVGA just get any of those units you listed in the 550W model. I think there were some good specials on the EVGA units lately, so just grab whichever of those is cheapest.

Why only EVGA branded ones? 

Out of those, none. You don't need a 750W PSU, a good 450W is plenty.

Okay, you can get a cx450m for around 20 bucks after rebate and a cx550m for 30 after rebate. They are great for the price, but only have a bronze efficiency

depends where OP lives/is buying from... here in the UK those units are still relatively expensive.

So is it in the netherlands, but I was giving an example. If I have to recommend generally I just say get a tier 3+ and be done with it.

That didn't seem like an example to me, as we don't know where OP is from , and was very specific.

 

But anyway, yes tier 3 upwards should be good, but I prefer tier 1 personally. For example, here in the UK I buy generally EVGA g2/g3/p2 650W+ as I then have inter-changeable cables on all my PCs and they are tier 1 for approx £90 or so... and should last me a good many years unless a fault develops in which case the 7 - 10 year warranty is there.

The G2 series has been the best of these. The G1 would have to be second. 

The G2 has better airflow and quieter..well everything compared to its G3 newer gen counterpart.

Yes, I agree.. I have 3x 650W g2, and 1x 850W P2, and a 650W g3... the P2 and G2 models are silent, whereas the G3 model's fan kicks in, whilst it's still not loud by any means, I prefer no fan noise at all. For most though it would take a very silent system to hear the fan IMO.
