You should just make sure that you have enaugh SATA cables and connections on the mobo otherwise you have to get a raid controller card

you should look into you cart again and sort everything out that you have double (like ram)

i dont think that board can connect to 13 SATA drives, so you would need SATA expansion cards at least

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

RAM wont really matter except you want a really big amount of cache, I would go with 16gig and be fine with it

I just realized that the hdd's you have in your cart are way too few for a real petabyte

How many gb = a petabyte then

1024Tib=1024*1024GiB=1048576GiB in theorie

If you calculate like hdd producers:

1000TB=1000000GiB=1Petabyte....

So if you want real 1 Petabyte, which is

1024*1024*1024*1024*1024Byte=11255899906824624 Byte

every hdd you chose got 10000000000000Byte

you need:112,6 of those for a real petabyte..

Which is way too much money, so just stay with your 100TB which enajgh anyway.

Sorry for being this person, but I just had to learn that in school

its used but got actually 20 ports and you can get cables to go with it, but you need to pay extra for a battery
