They'll never change to the Metric System...

I've lived in the US my whole life and I've always hated our measuring system. When I first got into computers and started learning about metric consequently I was like holy shit this makes so much more sense!

I basically use metric where-ever I can then do rough conversions when talking to people. It makes things so much easier.

the only non metric thing i use is for height i guess, but not by choice since everyone states their height in feet, but the most i know about that system is 5'10 is shorter than 5'11 and i don't think 5'12 exists, its called 6? idk.

    Yeah, nah, 5'12" is like a whole fraction in math. It's like saying 4 over 4 (4/4) or 8 over 8 (8/8). 5'12" reduces to 6' since 12" = 1'.

If you wanna see some real stupid units of measuring look at our tape measures. If you have something smaller than the nearest inch we have 1/2", 1/4", 1/8", 1/16", and even 1/32". If you ever need even more precise measuring we have the "thousands" if something is 1 and an 8th inches that'd be equal to 1.125 thousandths.

All of it is so stupid.
