I have a Logitech M325 that likes to randomly decide when it will and won't work. That's the mouse I'm using on the T7500 workstation. Probably should get it replaced soon, seeing that it eats through batteries while being an unreliable POS. I'm pretty sure a wired mouse could be a better investment for me, seeing that my mouse tends to stay on my desk 🤔

My money is on a cracked wire or solder joint.  Or dirt or wear if it’s a ball mouse.

wired mice are cheaper, faster, don’t take batteries, and are handily attaches to the computer so they can’t get lost.   When wireless mice first came out they were for laptops and travelers.  People for whom constantly plugging and unplugging a a cord and carrying it around was a PITA.
