samcool55 got a reaction from MadCharger in This Cooler DRAWS 545W!!? Bad Cooling Ideas #2
@AlexTheGreatish Why didn't you just go the intel way?
Massive water chiller and off you go!

Also I still belive that a TEC cooler can work, but not like this.
What you can do is get 2 loops.
1 loop is connected to the cold side of multiple lower-powered TEC's (more info below) so you don't just have a cold baseplate but an actual cold sub-ambient loop with water that needs anti-freeze because you could easily pull the whole loop into negative C. And another loop that is connected to the hot side with that massive rad (maybe even more) to keep the hot side happy.
So, why get more TEC's? Because you were very likely hitting a thermal transfer limit with your current setup. If you use multiple TEC's that are lower power you can spread out the heat so it can be transfered easier from the TEC to the loops.

TL:DR do it again but instead of 1 TEC, use more of them but lower power and instead of whacking a baseplate on it and mounting it straight onto the CPU, make a loop of it.

Just give them a call or a mail.
I had a similiar issue with an old HP laptop (I actually added a biometric lock and because it was annoying I wanted it gone, but couldn't). Send them a mail, few hours later i got a file that i whacked on a USB drive and poof, lock gone.

As long as you used XP, it wasn't THAT bad.
Windows 7 was a bad idea...

Yes I've recently used it. I have an aspire one sitting next to me with Lubuntu, Windows 7 and XP. Still play games on it 😄
    It's an interesting time capsule.

Well I'm a bit confused why you mention the 5700XT but apart from that.
It IS out of spec, if your VRAM severely downclocks due to thermals (which DOES happen when you stress the VRAM) you are clearly running it out of spec. Which is imo unacceptable.

It doesn't matter at this point what the actual temperatures are, the fact it downclocks is a clear sign it's right at the edge and you should do something to avoid premature death. But because they are basically behaving like this right out of the box, there's not much you can do about it, apart from buying one that has a good enough cooler as it should have.

So, they run out of spec from the factory.
That's just asking for premature VRAM deaths.

I just skip them (press the right arrow a few times) and problem solved.

While RAID is a really crappy money-grabbing game, world of tanks/world of warships is also really bad. And they sponsored multiple times in the past with no problem.

Yes it's only one video, but that doesn't mean it had zero impact.
80/20 is really not what you want.
And while you are correct that it is premium cleaning hardware. It really didn't fit the channel.
It's just a battery powered electric motor with some fancy lights. That's barely tech tbh.

If it was a robot vacuum it wouldn't be too bad because it has actual tech in it.

Also the fact they just threw a PC in it the next time Dyson sponsored a video really shows that they had to change something to avoid such a bad ratio again.

It still had a 90/10 ratio which isn't great, but is at least a lot better than before.

PS: the damn thing was 700 bucks, you can buy a decent robot vacuum for that money. Also no RGB, WTF.
