the amount of anger in your recent status updates led me to believe that the item stuck in transat was expensive, or atleast of some great emotional value, I have never seen such passion about a wooden figurine, but I admire it.

  2. I keep getting blue balled by Canada Post 😫

    Yesterday they said today

  3. 1. Get a backup 2. If he does, he's the dumbest man alive and you shouldn't learn from him (other than about how not to execute an attack o.O) 3. uhh.. unlikely ? I doubt he would act upon it unless he wants to be thrown in jail and not be able to touch a computer for the rest of his life..
  4. I wouldn't, just get a decent nvidia card from the get go.
  5. Wait, no, look at my updated post.
  6. You do need a nvidia, PhysX-enabled card to run PhysX. EDIT BECAUSE I POSTED ON ACCIDENT: I'm not sure if a purely PhysX card with that ATI card will work though. IIRC Nvidia updated their drivers to require an Nvidia priumary gpu for these cards to run. This seems to confirm my thoughts: https://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-cards/21347-4870x2-together-gtx-295-physx.html
  7. 😓 Two days now that my pc has been shutting down and I've had some gpu artifacting during those..

I might have to upgrade early.

  8. lol If I had 200 million$ worth of that I would 1. never trust anyone or anything with the password 2. SPLIT THE MONEY Nevermind forgetting the password, how dumb do you have to be to keep it all in one place !?
  9. I made a list of things to do for my game today.
I.. did not follow through with that list..

But hey, there's still progress being made !

I'm building a game called "how long has that van been there" and then it's just a jpeg of a van when you start the game.

  10. I want to share a new project I've started no less than 24h ago.

I've been wanting to make a game on a personal project kind of thing for a while but wasn't too sure what to do.
Then I replayed a game that came out a few years back called BIOS and remembered that the concept was interesting, but it was.. Unfortunately abandoned and full of bugs.

So yeah, I'm making it but (hopefully) better. I don't intend to turn an immediate profit with this (long-term through learning is the real idea behind this).

    My plan goes as follow:
Step 1: Make the basic mechanics, create 1-2 levels, see if it's fun.

Step 2: Add models, adhere to a style (I'm not sure what yet)

Step 3: Create and host a proper leaderboard (Possibly steam integration ?)

Step 4: Add a level creation tool (Again, Steam workshop ?)

    Step 5: ???

    Step 6: Profit.

  11. "How long have you been playing this ?"
    "17 years"
"So why isn't it working ??"
"Why the hell would I know !"
