  1. As title suggests im looking to full build first time, should I wait for all of this to come out? A lot of the builds with 30 series gpus and ryzen/intel cpus are very good at the moment. How long do you think it will take to see how stable and reliable all this new tech will be? That and windows 11 comes out in like 2 weeks right? I know the price for like the 690 mobo and 12th gen intel will be pricey as is all new stuff. Thoughts? I could probably afford a high end cpu btw.
  2. Wow this list looks really good. I might just go with this.
  3. So I won't have to have another CPU laying around just to update the bios right and then swap in the newer Ryzen CPU?

  6. Here is a link to previous thread I remade my build based off the great advice I received:https://pcpartpicker.com/user/shoyo10/saved/#view=vWr4Mp But now I'm having a hard time finding a compatible motherboard. Most of the motherboards I pick give this warning on pcpartpicker: I'm not keen on having to to update the bios as soon as I install it but I guess I can figure it out if that's the only way to get a competetive motherboard. The only one that works just picking it is the Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero but the price feels really steep. I
  7. Interesting! I will definitely have to do more reseach into this. The risk of overclocking does scare me for sinking this much money into it. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  8. Would I still see really good results out of an AMD CPU without having to play with over clocking?
  9. Wait are you saying if I dont overclock the cpu will run like a nuclear reactor?
  10. What kind of fans would you recommend/they aren't the same as coolers? Also is my case big enough for more fans? Thanks for the advice on the boot drive though!
  11. Budget (including currency): ~ $3000 Country: US Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: some programming + heavy gaming. Games: Destiny/Overwatch/Wow/Horizon Zero Dawn/Mass Effect remaster. Other details: already have 1440p/144hz monitor and corsair keyboard + mouse. Build: https://newegg.io/e577b5e Some notes on the build I assembled: I know the 3080ti is a ripoff compared to how little you gain from the 3080, but I needed a placeholder. Ideally I would take the 3080 if I could get MSRP, but who wouldn't. I'm sure the ram is overkill but it loo
