  1. pluggin my USB cable to the mobo was sketchy as hell. The whole connector on the mobo was about to pop off.
  2. It is the same with any forum. Just gotta sift through and find what's useful. I understood his comedic response. And he followed up with a helpful tidbit. And yes. those tiny connectors are the worst. I don't have the smallest of fingers, but I wish I had a child's fingers when working with those.
  3. Change where the fan is plugged onto the motherboard. I had an issue recently where I found one of the system fan terminals on the motherboard worked intermittently and another not at all. It was a refurbished mobo, so I wasn't mad or surprised.
  4. awesome. Thanks!
  5. triple check, quadruple check all the wiring n cables first
  6. I think WalMart only has 4 million gauge wire. dang.
  7. I am not new to custom cabling and wiring when it comes to the main cables to the PSU. But, I am new to the small bits like the Power switch, Reset switch, HDD light and what not. I was wondering if anyone knew what gauge wire those are and if it is even doable? I don't have a spare power switch to tinker with and I don't want to just plug something I created real quick into my mobos. I purchased a couple front panel wires, obviously from China, but they've been stuck in California for weeks now.
  8. fans look sexy. just feels like im starting from scratch again, rewiring.
  9. agh! theres a million fans to choose from, i know that struggle. but ya. i will post more pics. i had to have the rgb strips n fans all lit up today. but i gotta boot everytjing up and get into the icue software.
  10. Little fan upgrade to be installed soon. sexy.
  11. thinking about gettin rid of the tile in that room. but first... copper pipe/epoxy desk
  12. so heres a before n after of the office. once i get all my parts ill run both systems and post it. im currently drawing up an idea for a epoxy desk. itll most likely be a multisection desk fixed to a central column in the right corner.
  13. had to hook up my PC and secondary monitor real quick to get some work done. figured id place Her PC in there to see. work to do: wall/ceiling paint, top panels, additional outlet, reroute cables in attic, touch up paint. - mount shroud, add RGB fans and strips, redo insulation tube, add ram and hdd.
  14. measure 17 times. cut once.
  15. oh. and its a beautiful day.
