  1. The links are to amazon pages. $120 for the nvme ssd, $45 for the sas hdd plus a $20 add in card, and $40 for the sata hdd plus $45 for a 256gb nvme ssd. Noise does not matter to me.
  2. If you have the budget or when prices fall then get an RTX 3060 as because if you upgrade to 1440p, 4k, and/or high refresh rate monitors in the future the graphics card will be good for it. If on a budget, a RTX 2060 is a good bet or 1660 super if you don't care about being able to get a better monitor or run ultra graphics settings. If going AMD, RX 6600/6600xt for the first option. For the second a 5600/5600xt will do, and the last option, a 580/590 would have similar performance. Prices are bad all round as a GT 710, a horrible graphics card is going for $70 usd when it should be like $30-
  3. Thank you. I do also what to know if the sas drive is slower or faster than the sata hdd. Thanks for the help.
  4. You cpu is using Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 and is speeding up under load to preform better for a short period of time before falling back a little depending on you cooling. It is perfectly normal and is good to help speed up short tasks like opening a new tab.
  5. I got a similar deal on this power supply. It has worked well and should handle the power requirements of your system. It is a good idea as similar priced power supplies are 550w-600w and non or semi modular.
  6. Hello, I built a pc and realized I need to upgrade storage and have found 3 options. My pc is used for gaming and everyday tasks. If needed the specifications are here: CPU: i5-11400 GPU:RTX 3060(after shortage, igpu used now) Ram: 16gb 3200 mhz SSD: 512gb entry level nvme (read/writes around 1,000) My options I found are: Option One: 1tb hdd like https://www.amazon.com/WD-Blue-1TB-Hard-Drive/dp/B0088PUEPK/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=wd+blue+1tb&qid=1626491185&sprefix=wd+blue+&sr=8-5 and 256gb p
  7. Thank you, I am using the Vetroo V5
  8. Two quick question: I am building a pc and want to know what case to use, these are the two cases: Montech Air X Black or Musetex Mesh ATX Black Which one should I use? And want is the cpu cooler clearance on both cases because I can not find it anywhere?
  9. I am building a new PC and have asked for help with it before but stock issues with my chosen MB have made me ask if I should go with a different board. Specs: CPU: Core i5-11400 GPU: RTX 3060 ti MB: Asus Prime B560 Plus or ASRock B560 Steel Legend PSU: Corsair CX-M 550w RAM: Teamgroup T-Force Vulcan Z 2x8gb 3200mhz 512gb SSD
  10. A friend has a ton of RX 580s that he would sell to me for $200 usd per or I am just going to use the integrated gpu until prices drop. Would an Antec 550w 80+ Bronze PSU work?
  11. I am not going to overclock, only going to use turbo and ASRock’s BFB.
  12. Three things: 1: Buying without integrated WiFi 2: Am not worried about pcie boards as I am only going to use one x16 slot for gpu and that is it. 3:Found out the b560 board has pcie 4.0 so I am going to get it as my board
  13. For upgrading you have to buy almost all new parts and can only use some of the parts you have which might add up to the coast of just buying a new computer. Also, having the other computer as a backup and holding any data that can not fit on the Mac would help with price of getting the Mac mini.
  14. I Checked compatibility and the boards are the same price so I just wanted to know. Probably going to get the B560 then.
  15. Two things I mean either the H470 Steel Legend or B560 Steel Legend The question I am asking is what chipset is better as I am new to pc building. My use case is 1080p gaming and went with ASRock because of the good budget MB with good RGB/ARGB support which I need for my case and my cooler.
  16. Okay but I looked into a couple calculators for psu and I thought 500w would have been good. Is this true as there will be no OC? I probably just put the money into it anyways for upgrades at a later date.
  17. I am building a budget ATX system for 1080p gaming. I am going to buy a GPU after the prices fix themselves but want to know if I should go for a high end 2060, low end 2070, or a 3060? Here are my specs: MB: ASRock H470 or B560 steel legend CPU: core i5-11400 RAM: teamgroup T-Force Vulcan Z 8x2gb 3200 MHz GPU:? PSU: EVGA 500w 80+ Bronze Case: Montech Air X black Storage: 512gb SSD Cooler: Thermaltake UX100
  18. I am going to build a new computer (I know bad idea right now) and am going to use a ASRock MB. Should I choose the H470 or B560 steel legend? Here is my hardware list: CPU: core i5-11400 RAM: teamgroup T-Force Vulcan Z 8x2gb 3200 MHz GPU: will be a RTX 3060 after prices fix themselves PSU: EVGA 500w 80+ Bronze Case: Montech Air X black Storage: 512gb SSD Cooler: Thermaltake UX100
