I've still got a few relatives on those, I'll have to upgrade them.

I don't even care that it's missing features from old Edge, expecially considering that it ran like I disabled 6 cores on my PC.

This new Edge is Certified FantasticTM It's just as fast as Chrome, slightly lighter than Chrome, and I love the look!

As an intersting aside, here's all the Google junk that Microsoft stripped or rewrote for Edge

Once this comes bundled with Windows 10, Chrome will be one less thing you have to install!

This contract has as many as 100,000 HoloLens Devices involved. Microsoft would never pull out of this agreement.

Also, less than 1% of Microsoft's workforce has signed this letter

way less than 1%, MS employee 131,000 people while only 50 signed.
same sort of news, but people treat the severity differently depending on their understanding of the world and their ignorance about the inner workings of any one company.

Kherm reacted to Railgun in Windows 10 update resets start tiles
I was mostly just being sassy for the fun of it when I replied with the picture, but if he was doing a refresh or anything else he probably wouldn't have used the word update or stated that it was automatic. I don't really know why he included the word reset but it might be because in addition to his reset-esk issue, a Windows update typically has you go through a setup process afterwards which can invoke the feeling of starting over.

Sounds like the issue is simply that updating Windows causes the start menu to be reset. @Subterfudge we could use some more details please

You can already stick apps to one side (dual screen on a single monitor) simply by holding the win key and clicking the arrow keys. In less than 4 key strokes I can stick two apps on the desktop in any position.
