A pair of Citizen data banks.

I was certain that back when I was about 7 I played with such a credit card sized thing that had data storage that my dad had, but despite many tries I had never managed to find what it was again, looked at all the usual sharp, casio etc and never found anything like what I remembered. Came across a photo of a Citizen one last week while browsing other stuff and I finally knew what to search for. There are quite a few models http://www.calcuseum.com/SCRAPBOOK/BRAND/CITIZEN/10.htm, not sure which one we had but I remembered grey and red and that it had time/alarm.

Went on ebay and found those 2 in box, MB-260 with no clock and MB-300 with, the latter might be what we had. The MB-300 had a faulty display, decided to try and risk a repair (the front is glued and there's no telling how clean it'll come away so might get all destroyed), the repair worked and while it's not cosmetically perfect anymore at least it works.

This is hilarious and a good example of link rot on the internet. You really can't trust external content at all as it can change at any time. I'm sure the company is making bank off ads being auto-loaded.

The biggest one being the Asus G15 Advantage edition laptop. Im now a proud owner of the RX 6800M and it is mindblowing. Plus some network equipment upgrades and a phone upgrade paid for via stimulus

Pure decadence, but it has a feature set that's such a huge upgrade to my X-T2 that I figured I'd take the plunge.
X-T2 is going to go as soon as the stack of batteries for the X-T4 is in.
For those interested; I just bought the body, but I'm using it with the MCOPlus 12mm 2.8, Fujifilm 23mm 2.0 WR, Fujifilm 27mm 2.8 pancake, Fujifilm 35mm 2.0 WR and the 16-55 2.8. Also got an old Helios 44-2 with m42 --> FX mount and a Panagor 55mm Macro that I use for digitizing 120 film on a lightbox every now and then. There's also a Samyang flash and a Zhiyun Weebill, and sometimes a Rode Videomic Go although I usually use my Zoom M1 handy recorder. This Fuji does line-level input so I may hook that up to the input. it's become quite the setup by now :D.

Just got the JNJ single shot Covid-19 vaccine two days ago, after weeks of struggling to register. Getting vaccinated is not something new to me even as an adult because I get annual flu shots, I got the pneumococcal (PCV13) shot last year (painful in the arm for two days because it’s viscous), and the three doses of Gardasil 9 four years ago, all without the flu-like symptoms. The JNJ vaccine was different, I got the shot at 9 am, went on with my daily routine including indoor cycling for 30 minutes at 10:30 am, and my 8 pm I got fever and a headache which lasted until the next day. It was the kind of sick feeling when you get the flu minus the sniffles and stuffed nose.

Is it my preferred vaccine? No. But the town where I’m currently residing doesn’t have an ultra-low freezer to store the two mRNA vaccines so I sticked to the adenovirus based vaccine from Janssen and I gotta take what’s available. Some people might say that the JNJ vaccine doesn’t offer robust protection against the delta variant based on this new study which contradicts Janssen’s statement, but assuming that is true it’s not like the OG SARS-Cov-2 strain disappeared and got replaced with pure delta variant only. The JNJ vaccine still works against other mutations like 🇧🇷🇿🇦 and reduce mortality. I’d wait for other studies to corroborate NYU’s findings, and if so hopefully Janssen makes a booster shot similar to AstraZeneca and Sputnik V.

Nonetheless, I am now a walking JNJ 5G tower and I emit central venous thrombosis with thrombocytopenia and scare the crap out of Karens.

This is the right attitude to have. Even if it "only" has 70% or so effectiveness or is less effective against some variants, that is still infinitely better than 0% from no vaccine at all. One of the reasons why there's a flu shot every year is exactly because the virus is constantly changing and old vaccines won't be (as) effective anymore. Effectiveness is nothing new. Communicating that less protection doesn't mean no protection can be difficult though.

People's perception of numbers is also often biased towards negatives in my experience. For example instead of seeing a potential of reducing infection and severe symptoms by 70%, you focus on the 30% chance that it doesn't. Instead of seeing the good it does, you focus on the 0.00000001% of a certain potentially lethal side-effect. The problem with the latter is that since we're vaccinating on such a massive scale even the rarest and most exotic side-effects will show up.

What makes you think that the performance of a Vega 8 with DDR4 can compete with an 8-cluster RDNA2 chip coupled to LPDDR5 RAM? I'd think that the 5700G stands no real chance in the graphics department, but we'll see. The disadvantage in the Steam Deck is the fact that it only has a quad-core Zen 2 chip as opposed to the octa-core Zen 3 with a significantly higher power budget.

Does it connect over AC (866 MHz listed bandwidth when you're close to the router)?
If so, I'd try to disable the driver feature "Boost Throughput". I've tried that back then on my Wireless-AC 7260 and it cause the transfer rate to slow down quite a bit as opposed to increasing, as you'd actually expect from that feature.

Here in the US the Rabbit had the same engine as some Audi's had in them, I believe the engine was an Audi make but could have been a VW made powerplant too.
Good little engine that had plenty of zip to get around with.
One of the biggest drawbacks these has was when the fuel injection system (Bosch) would develop a problem and most here didn't understand how to get them working again without it costing as much as the entire vehicle was worth if not more.
Parts for those systems were beyond expensive and chances are it's even worse now with the scarcity of these parts, having been made around 40 years ago.

The one I had was converted to a carburator, the guy I got it from had taken an intake from a Dodge Omni/Plymouth Horizon car with the same engine type and installed it, added an electric fuel pump in-line to the fuel lines and slapped a carb on it.
The little thing ran great and never had a single complaint about it being converted.
In fact the little engine outlasted the body itself since it rusted out underneath to the point of danger as I found out one morning when the brakes went out. Turns out the brake lines had rusted out too where some body rot had taken place underneath but from above there were no visual signs of this rot happening.
I really wanted to save it but the entire car just wasn't worth it and the engine still ran like a top too, In the end I sold it to a guy for the value of the engine alone and practically gave it away just to get it out of my yard.
I kinda miss that little car, reliable as a rock except whenever it decided it's time for a new timing belt, that being the only drawback it had.

Benji reacted to Selle in ROG Strix G15: Confusion on max RAM capacity
In many cases OEMs max memory support specification is set at the highest they plan on offering from factory, not what it actually supports. If the CPU is capable of running 32GB dimms, there is a good chance it will work, but the only real way to find out is to test it. There is no point in contacting support, they will only read the same spec sheets you have looked at yourself
