  1. No, never done that and I'm not sure if it's scheduled. I don't know where to check it.
  2. I have a 6TB HDD with tons of media files, pictures and videos, recoded gameplay, GoPro, etc. There are about 5000 files in total and when I installed Windows 10 I had to manually generate the thumbnails by slowly scrolling down. For like 2 months it was all working well, I had my thumbnails even after restarting PC several times throughout the day. But now for some effin reason, literally all the thumbnails are gone. Like wtf? Why the eff does it delete my thumbnails without consent? This is beyond annoying. What's more annoying is the fact that I don't know how to get around this. Can you gu
  3. I don't have the console yet so I can't check it. I don't mind playing at a lower frame rate, I'm really not a big fan of dynamic resolution.
  4. "LOGILINK USB 3.1 USB 3.1 CU0175 " LOGILINK CU0175: USB-A connector to USB-C connector, 1.5m at reichelt elektronik I don't want to buy the new Xbox Series Play and Charge kit because I already own the Xbox One one and the batteries are nearly identical, plus I'm on a budget right now so I only need the USB Type C cable but I literally don't know anything about USB cables. Do you guys think the USB cable I linked above will work fine with the Xbox Series controller?
  5. Do you use the monitor in the default response time mode? I heard the 'Fastest' mode causes severe ghosting. How long have you been using it? Any dead pixels? Errors?
  6. I have just watched a couple of reviews, including Linus' video about this LG monitor and everybody seems to agree that the input lag is extremely low (I think that's what you referred to as latency), which I would love! I have an old 1080P Smart TV which I used to play console games on but not for long because that input lag is straight up disgusting. My current monitor is an Ultrawide LG with a resolution of 2560x1080 and I hate it, I also hate the black bars that appear on the sides in most contents I watch or games I play. I think I'll get this LG monitor because I think I can take advanta
  7. My CPU is Ryzen 5 2600 3.8Ghz GPU: RTX 2060 RAM: 16GB 3000Mhz I'm planning to buy a one of these new monitors because I own an Ultrawide and I don't like it
  8. I've been hesitating for a week now and I can't decide. Which monitor do you think is a better deal? Both monitors are in the exact same price range (in my country), so budget isn't a factor. Both monitors are IPS panel. Both of them are nearly the same size. Asus TUF VG289Q Pros: - 3840x2160 (overall sharper image quality) - 10-bit panel + HDR - Built-in speakers Cons: - 60Hz (I play online games a lot) - No USB HUB - 5ms response time - No G-sync LG UltraGear 27GL850-B Pros: - 144Hz -
  9. Max budget: $600 (can't really go higher) Preferred brand: ASUS. Brands I'd need not: Philips because I've heard they have lots of dead pixel problems; and AOC, as I've had an AOC monitor before and it was god awful. Panel Size Min: 27 inches Panel Size Max: 28 inches Resolution: 3840x2160. Refresh Rate: I don't care about it (a minimum of 60 ofc but if higher I don't mind). Response Time: Max 5ms acceptable (gray2gray or idk, just make sure no ghosting occurs). Input Lag: I'm not sure how this is measured but I need something with very low
  10. RTX 2060 6GB, Ryzen 5 2600 3.8Ghz, 16GB DDR4
  11. So, I should save up more and buy something else?
  12. I've only read positive reviews about it. It's a cheap ~$300 4K60Hz monitor, but it has an IPS panel (which looks great according to reviews) adjustable height, USB hub, DP, HDMI and relatively low response time (4-5ms) and it's 28 inches. My question is: where's the trick? Why is it only $350 if it has so much to offer? Here's the specs from the official Philips website: https://www.philips.co.uk/c-p/288E2A_00/4k-ultra-hd-lcd-monitor
  13. I'm planning to buy a NAS device ("WD MY CLOUD EX2 ULTRA") and it says it comes with cloud storage where you can manage your saved files. What I haven't been able to figure out is whether it's free or not. It's for local network only. Question 2: Could I possibly use SATA SSD's in it? Would it make sense?
  14. Just created a discord account then I tried to join https://discord.com/invite/xbox (official Microsoft Xbox discord server) but when I accept rules it instantly kicks me out. I've never been banned, none of my connected accounts have ever been in anything shady so that cannot be the reason why it kicks me. My birth date is 1994 so I'm well above 13... can anyone help me?
