  1. So I place my phone on my keyboard whenever I am watching YT because I don't have the desk space to move the keyboard comfortably back enough and I like the extra elevation. However, I usually have my PC on as well and sometimes multiple keys get pressed and messes things up. It would be very inconvenient to unplug my keyboard or go through a bunch of settings every time. So I was wondering how I could set up something more convenient than that, like a macro or something. Thanks
  2. Yea i have seen that, my only concern is that it seems to be purely for overclocking for mining profit instead of longevity. Would have the memory clock speed high affect my card's longevity?
  3. I am using my gaming pc to mine, so I am primarily concerned about the longevity of my 2080 if I'm going to use it to mine. What are the best settings I could use? I've been looking around and I can't find any definitive answer. Apparently, it's fine if you underclock the core clock? Is the memory clock the only thing responsible for the hash rate? Would having a high memory overclock (like 800) affect the longevity of the card(<60)?
  4. I'm using my gaming pc to crypto mine, so I care quite a lot about whether or not my components will get damaged. So my "GPU Load" is constantly at 100% when crypto mining. Will this damage my GPU in the long run? I think my GPU temperature is low, but could running the GPU at 100% still damage it even if the heat is low? I have not done any over/under-clocking which is what I want to look into. These are my GPU stats after a few hours of mining. Are these good? What should I do to better optimize it for longevity, which is frankly the only thing I care about.
  5. A few days ago I tried to fix a "Critcial Process Died" error that has been around for some months. I did sfc /scannow and downloaded Driver Easy, along with following this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ePnMrVFkzs&ab_channel=TechnicalMajidAlvi video for the Pro version of Driver Easy, along with updating all 32 outdated drivers. Directly afterwards, the computer was a little slow but I didn't think much of it. The next day, it was borderline unusable, with the curser lagging with 3-6 seconds of delay (that shortens to about 2 seconds after a few minutes), and everything running extremel
  6. So I'm planning to increase the aesthetics of my pc by buying a Phanteks Vertical GPU Bracket, Phanteks Neon Digital RGB LED Kit (1m), and either one or three Aerocool Mirage 12 ARGB 120mm Fans. I just wanted to make sure these parts are all compatible with my current build https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/DiVidz/saved/7bMbLk. Will my motherboard have enough connectors for three additional rgb fans? Will a vertical 2080 strix even fit in the lancool 215? Could I install two fans at the bottom of the case; will the vertical gpu block it? One fan will be t
  7. I am planning to get the Sennheiser hd560s, and before I buy I'd like to know if there's another pair of better open-back headphones in the same price range, just in case there's some super good option I haven't seen. I'm already aware of the hd6xx and hd58x. I am mainly looking for comfort, good soundstage, and of course, audio quality. Also, I will be plugging these directly into my PC, would that be fine?
  8. When I have XMP mode on for my ram my pc restarts like as soon as I get into a game. I have the Patriot Viper 4 Blackout 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL17 Memory with a Ryzen 5 3600 cpu. Is there a easy fix to the XMP mode problem? I'm guessing it's just that the 3600mhz is a little too unstable or something. In that case how would I go about overclocking to like 3200mhz? Since the only options for profiles are default and that 1 xmp mode, and I'm not sure how to get 3200mhz with the correct voltage or whatever. Thanks for reading
  9. I need bluetooth for my system and don't know the difference between cards. What's the difference between a low end and high end bluetooth card? I'm only looking for bluetooth as my pc already has a lan cable. So then should I get a bluetooth dongle? But I've heard those have higher latency. I want to use my bluetooth headset for gaming, I noticed no latency on my old system that had a pcie bluetooth card, but I can't transfer that card. But most of all I'm going to be using this headset for music listening, so I want good audio. Would different bluetooth cards have any affect on that? So w

  11. I just got a new pc and I've been playing around with some overclocking, yet for some reason no matter if I overclock the gpu and cpu and ram, the max fps I get hovers around 690-750 for valorant (the only game I've tested since it's the only game I'm currently playing a lot of). It's not like it stops at exactly 750, it's just the average highest fps is around that, and the overall fps is around 300, no matter what I do. I even changed my resolution all the way down to the lowest and it had zero affect on fps. And I'm seeing that valorant is only using around 40% of gpu and cpu. I know that I
  12. This is the wifi/bluetooth card in my old pc, and I am wondering how/if I could transfer this to my new pc with a Asrock b550m steel legends motherboard. Does this card have to be plugged in with those small wire things? Does the motherboard have those? Or do I have to remove them from my old pc and attach it to my new one somehow?
  13. I have a Lian li lancool 215, and a ASrock b550m steel legends motherboard, and the case fans are so loud it's giving me headaches, but for some reason no videos are telling me how to adjust case fans, only cpu gpu fans, and there's nothing in the BIOS about case fans. I've been searching on google as well but for some reason there's absolutely nothing helpful anywhere
  14. So I've built a completely new pc, and I am thinking of moving my ssd from my old pc to my new one. But I'm kinda confused about some things. If I were to sell my old pc, should I just keep this old 512gb SSD in that old pc instead of using it? Since 1tb of nvme m.2 storage should be enough and I think I might just use a external ssd for extra games (is there a problem with that?) Or should I use this old SSD and buy a new one to put into the old pc, then sell it? The old pc would probably sell for 400-700AUD. Will the old ssd be completely separate in the file
  15. Sorry I meant 8 pins. And wait what it need 3 6+2s??
