My GPU has a white LED to indicate if the 8 pin is plugged in or not and that warning light does not come on. I think my GPU is in right as on the PCIe 16x slot the tab is open and when I push the card in it closes and clicks.

I've got a MSI Mag Mortar 550m and the EZ Debug LED is on, on the VGA LED. I've read that this means the video card is not detected. When I turn it on all the lights come on and all fans spin however I have a black screen and I cannot get it to boot. It starts off by having the LED on CPU, then for a micro second on DRAM then gets stuck on VGA. I'm using a Ryzen 7 5800x (installed latest drivers via bios flash), GTX 1080, 16gb DDR4 and I have 2 m.2s connected atm. Any help would be massively appreciated

I have a B550 motherboard & a Ryzen 7 5800x and I cannot get it to post. Do I need an older AM4 for it to install the Bios on it?

I just put together a PC with a ryzen 7 5800x, gtx 1080 and 16gb ddr4 ram. the MSI MAG Mortar mother boards “ez debug” light is on vga which in the manual says the video card is not detected. I have tried a few things but I am not sure how to fix this. any advice is welcome

I bought a new AIO recently and it did not come with the correct screws to mount it. Does anyone know what these screws are called so I can buy them and then fit my cooler. This may be a long shot but here is what I'm going off of. These are the screws that it did not come with This is the Amazon product page Thank you ~

I did this and it says I'm running at 144hz. Thanks anyway for the clear instructions It could be that but, is it possible to barely notice it at all? For reference if I had these 2 monitors side by side without knowing which one is 144hz I probably would not be able to tell which one is higher. The monitor I have is 1080p 144hz. I've got a i7 3700k and a 1080 at the moment and I can get atleast 70 fps and well over 144 fps most of the time in the games I play.

I've got a 144hz monitor and I'm not able to tell that much of a difference from my 4k 70hz monitor. There is a little bit but it doesn't feel like double. My nvidia control panel says it is on 144hz, so does my monitor. Is it possible that something like the DP cable is limiting my refresh rate? Thanks.

Are the 5000 series AMD CPUs worth it?

I'm having a hard time picking a CPU. My options are (but not limited to): Ryzen 7 3800x Ryzen 9 3900x Ryzen 7 5800x Ryzen 9 5900x There is a big price difference between these components & I'm debating whether it'd be worth it or not. I'd be pairing it with a 3080 and 32gb ddr4 3600mhz memory. Edit: Would be using for gaming primarily but also light productivity. Budget would be around £300 - £600
