  1. Willing to pay 740 gbp max, willing to go slightly high over because of the stock
  2. It's 720 gbp for me, probably expensive for you because it has to be shipped to the US altho im not sure how it converts, did it say there was a collection point when you entered the code?
  3. Hey, tryna buy a 3080 right now, got really excited when I found a site which had stock and for a decent price but it seems no matter what address or place i put in, it says it can't be delivered to a collection place near there and it can't be delivered to houses, can anyone let me know if they were able to get to the buying screen? Kinda worried i might lose the opportunity if it's just me https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing-accessories/components-upgrades/graphics-cards/asus-geforce-rtx-3080-10-gb-tuf-gaming-graphics-card-10214421-pdt.html
  4. Hey so I've got a Ryzen 7 3700x, which runs 65 degrees (C) on 100% usage using the stock cooler (amd wraith prism), I started searching for overclocks just to see how much extra small performance i could squeeze, however after looking at task manager, sits around 4.2 - 4.35 ghz, seeing overclock settings videos saying "Overclock to 4.3ghz!". I know my cpu isn't overclocked because I built it. Very confused and just wanted to ask
  5. I think you thought I meant like a whole new competitor to amd or nvidia or something because I meant the custom modified ones from the likes of amd or nvidia
  6. I think OP might mean it constantly defaults to 4k, if not then your monitor will still be displaying it at 1080p, but you will be streaming it at 4k.
  7. Could be that your cpu is struggling to handle loading and caching the textures and models that the server is giving it, other than that I'm not too sure if it works fine in singleplayer but I know with my old cpu, I used to not be able to go fast in gta online or I would fall through the map or lag
  8. This may seem like a dumb question, and I've only ever built 2 pcs and upgraded a few so this isn't for me, but why don't people make their own gpu models? Companies like Zotac, Asus Gigabyte MSI etc create these custom models of cards, of which seems to be the default card but with a new case and fans, and with a new heatsink and a built in oc. Why aren't people experimenting with this on their own? Not sure probably a stupid question but I'm curious
  9. It turns out the issue was the ram should have been in slots A2 and B2, not A1 and B1. Problem solved thank you!
  10. Hey so I’ve got Corsair rgb vengeance pro 2x8 3200mhz and I noticed it was running at 2133mhz, so I went to my bios and turned on d.o.c.p 3200mhz and turned the fan curve to turbo setting (I don’t mind noise) I also set the tweaker to ASUS optimal, testing each one but it’s the ram that’s causing the issue. Why is it restarting over and over when setting the speed to what’s advertised?
  11. Hey so I’ve been stuck figuring this out for quite a while and researching to no avail. Ive got my ssd and my case (Corsair 4000D) and I’m trying to mount it to the bracket that came with this case. There’s 4 screws underneath which screw into the ssd, they only fit when the ssd is facing one way but the large yellow screw seems to block the ports on #1 and on #2 the edges block the ports as well.
  12. Hey so I got my new motherboard (ASUS TUF B450-PRO GAMING) And I cannot find hd audio anywhere on the board.
