  1. Normally I wouldn't either, unless I like the appearance, customers would go standard edition for previous years. Until the custom cards bring higher costs than the founders edition, which is the situation for majority of RTX 30 series
  2. I think the founders edition for GTX 1060 6GB is actually $299. Edit: adding source NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB Specs | TechPowerUp GPU Database So compare with GTX 10 Series, the 3060Ti is between the price of 1070 and 1070ti. (Founders edition price) Neatly cut from Jenson Huang.
  3. I remember I bought 1070ti founders edition at $449. It is like the high end card at that time. The GTX 1060 6GB is $299. and I believe this card occupied a significant portion in the PC gaming markets.
  4. For mobo, maybe you can take a consideration on MSI MAG B550M mortar MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK MSI MAG B550 Gaming edge wifi. ----- gigabyte aorus B550 elite --- Asus Tuf B550M --- Price range from 149 to 189. All of them are decent motherboards with great features and power delivery at this price range.
  5. iPhone is the product that makes Apple, "the Apple"
  6. Haha, glad to see that. Honestly, I had doubted about this in my mind. Which one is more important, data or price. Then I compare the price of 970EVO and sn 750, as well the WD Blue and the 860EVO, find the 1 tb version price difference is roughly $15, which is about one Burger King meal price for myself. So I do the math again, 1TB WD Blue + 1 burger king meal = 1TB Samsung 860EVO. I would go Samsung then.
  7. Thanks Rex, I would check to see what happened there.
  8. Thanks for summary. It seems like a TLC drive issue. I'd switch to 970 EVO. Data is more important for me.
  9. I think the B550M tomahawk was at a price of 139.99 or 149.99. And the B550M Mag Mortar is at 139.99 I got my B550 MAG Gaming Edge Wifi at $150. Right now, Asus Tuf B550-Plus is at 135, Aourus Elite as well [Mobo] ASUS Tuf B550-PLUS ATX Mobo - $135 ($170 - $35) : buildapcsales (reddit.com) [Motherboard] Gigabyte B550 Aourus Elite V2 $135 on Amazon : buildapcsales (reddit.com) 3 days ago [mobo] b550m msi mag mortar 130-10MIR $120 eligable for $20 steam : buildapcsales (reddit.com)
  10. I would return my SN750 and get one from Samsung, Intel, Hynix or Micron. I initially made this choice because of the 10% cashback from WD stores. But data is more important to me anyway.
  11. Here is the link of review about the problems happened on 840 EVO Samsung 840 EVO read speed drops on old-written data in the drive | Overclock.net If this kind of issues happened on WD SSDs, hopefully they would fix them quickly. Just ordered 1TB SN750 for my storage drive of PoRns and games, hope WD wouldn't let me down.
  12. I saw ppl posting that WD SSDs appearing Cold Data Storage problems when I was looking to shop for my game SSDs from reddit/buildapcsales. https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsales/comments/k3f0n3/ssd_wd_blue_1tb_newmaxx_performance_sata_ssd_8999/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 Had anyone experienced this kind of problems? Seems like the similar problems happened on 840 EVO
  13. Any expectations? I hope the 5600x cpu would be able to fulfill the demand in 2021, spring. And as well as the rtx 3060 ti or 6700 xt will come out at that time.
