ah right, yes, then if its like that then a SSD is best for u. especially since u got an external storage device..and in this case, since its not an urgent requirement for u, i'd suggest wait it out for as long as possible to get the SSD with the higher storage space. If it was me, i'd wait, esp.if its not urgent, cuz i like to have as much space i can have provided it comes within my budget

u can get the lower variant that is available now and expand ur storage with a traditional hard drive of like 1tb or something capacity at a later time if that is an option. Because i personally like to do something like that cuz SSDs life is less compared to a HDD if u Write on them often. Just reading from SSD is fine (which is why i only store operating system, some heavy software and games that require too much time to load) on an SSD, but i use a traditional HDD for everything else. (videos, photos, large files that move around a lot, etc.)

that goes without saying...and its the same for the 480gb variant as well and for any other storage devices for that matter. I have never seen a storage device in which u get the full advertised storage capacity ever, cuz it reserves bit of space for system files/cache or whatever..

i'll wait and see for replies from few more people (cuz i am simply interested to hear from various people) till the very last minute i actually buy the parts (which would be like in the next 2 days) after which i'll mark this post as solved

i see! yeah, exactly my thoughts right now its not much, like monthly installments that i need to pay my bank back without the 650w corsair psu is gonna be 2.6k INR and WITH the 650w psu, it would be 2.8k INR.. issue is, that extra 200 that i save, on the long run would be nice cuz its a 24 month loan on which i need to make all of the parts purchase using credit card. So that is 4800 INR saved + some extra interest based rate. I know it would be nice if i could get the 650W now but oh well, it is what it is eh

I am gonna make this purchase and pay my bank for it on monthly installments, hence the reason i am being so very extra careful on how much extra i spend on a already doubled budget than originally planned lol. Because my siblings already have a even lower-end computer currently than my current rig, i just thought it would be nice if i could give them my current computer as for them it would be a decent upgrade. actually that's the thing, i dont really plan to upgrade anything major after today for at least a year...and i think i can upgrade psu then if need be (if that is the only real issue here)

Like, the psu i have currently (corsair vs450W 80+ white) was priced at around 3.5k INR when i bought it few months ago..the 650w psu that i have my eyes on costs 7.8k WITH the computer cabinet/case that i need (its a bundle offer) so there is simply no way i can afford a psu that costs me 20k INR right, i see! hope the psu that ur looking for comes in stock asap...that is if u still need to buy it that is.. yeah right, to be honest, i am afraid my only two choices are : A) i eithe
