  1. Sorry it's actually a 5900 CPU, not a 5950. I just wasn't sure what to expect. Are them CPU temps ok, or do i need to try and reseat the pump at all?
  2. Hi, Just put my 5900x build together and done some testing while i wait for my 3080 was just curious about tempratures, I'm using a Hydro 100i with stock thermal paste and the fans and pumps were set to balanced. Both sides of the case were off while i was testing, I have 3 intake fans and 1 rear outtake fan, then the rad is top mounted with the 2 fans as outtake. I'm getting around ~50c idle but when i did Prime95 stress test i selected blend and left it for 10 minutes it only reached 74c. Also tried a couple Cinebench tests and was around 60-65c
  3. Ah perfect! i had the USB Stick all ready with the bios i assumed it would post and i update once i was on the BIOS. Didn't realise about the buttom. All working now and in BIOS, very happy Now just the long wait for the 3080.
  4. Ah ok thanks for the reply. I hope it's that, So if i just download a windows 10 install to a bootable USB will that work? What did you mean about a live bootable?
  5. Hi, I've been buying parts over the last few months for a new build while i wait for the 3080, but i decided i would put everything together today and make sure everything is working so far but it doesn't seem to boot at the moment. I have a new AMD Cpu with a b550 board, will it still post with that CPU in it as i assume i will need to update the bios for it? Also i've not put any HDDs in yet as im waiting on my 980 pro. Full Spec is: Corsair 850w MSI MPG B550 GAMING CARBON WIFI AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 2x Corsair Vengeance
  6. I don't actually have a cooler yet so open to suggestions, I have a Corsair 4000d airflow case which is white though so would ideally like a white cooler.
  7. only issue is i have a Corsair 4000 airflow case, so i can't fit the 360mm unless i have the tubes at the top, this is a bad idea right? Also i think anything larger than 240mm will hit the ram
  8. I'm planning on getting a 5900X on release date, i was just wondering if there has been anything about what sort of cooling will be required? I was hoping on using a Corsair Hydro 100i RGB Platinum SE 240mm, Would something like that be good enough? I don't plan on overclocking at all. Thanks
  9. Just personal preference i guess, I like the look of RGB Ram.
  10. That is pretty nice looking, can't see many reviews about it though. Is gskill a good brand? Would 3600 CL16 be a noticable improvement over 3600 CL18 ?
  11. Yeah true, it needs RGB obviously though lol. I do like the Crucial Ballistix RGB but they don't seem to be in stock anywhere in the UK. Are they an older product?
  12. Ok great thanks for the info, They don't do the 3600c18 ram in 2x16 from what i'm seeing, only 3200c16, Seem to be quite limited with white RAM.
  13. Thanks, do you mind me asking why? the 2x16 is quite abit cheaper too
  14. Hi, I'm doing a new build over the next month, I'm in the queue for a 3080 and will be getting a 5900x once they come out, I was just stuck deciding which memory to get. I'm doing a mainly white build so ideally would like white ram, was looking at the "Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4 3600 MHz C18 XMP 2.0" Would that be better than the "Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz C16" As from what i was reading the lower C rating is better? The board im looking at is: MSI MPG B550 GAMING CARBON WIFI and case is Corsair 40
