Any reason for a big itx computer? At that point you might as well get the cheaper same size micro atx version. As for specs it can be better but depends on your answer to the first part.

Reminder that you lose two cores, but gain 4 threads with a higher single core performance. You probably didn't' forget, but 9700K is 8C/8T.

FakeKGB got a reaction from MoHaMaDRz in a Question on using 6 pin to 8 pin connectors
Do not use adapters like this as they can catch on fire. A 6-pin connector is rated for 75W. An 8-pin connector is rated for 150W.
If your PSU does not have the power connectors you need, it is for a reason. You will need to replace your PSU if you want to use the 3070.

From what I understand, miniLED does not produce as deep blacks as OLED but it is better at producing the correct colors. Also brightness is much higher on miniLED. microLED will be the one that unites everybody I guess...

No, MicroLed is the evolution of OLED. Miniled is like FALD.

The rtx is higher power consumption than your rx580. You will kill your psu most likely and your system probably too if you do this.

You simply need a better psu it cannot handle a 3070.

Get a b tier unit of at least 650w of this psu tier list:

FakeKGB reacted to jaslion in Non-working R9 380 4G card needs help
You NEED thermal pads. The cooler is NOT MADE to used thermal paste for any component that ISNT the gpu core. There will be NO contact between the cooler and vram, vrm,... as the thermal pads bridge the gap. You need correct thickness thermal pads. Too thick and it will cause pressure and contact issues which can result in things breaking under pressure, no contact for other components,... You also cannot use too thin thermal pads as well those wont connect.

DO NOT DO THIS ON A UNSTABLE CARD

NEVER DO THIS ON A UNSTABLE CARD

    YOU WILL BRICK THE CARD

First verify if it is a hardware issue or not

It never fails to amaze me how reliable the PS2 controllers are, and how crappy my friend's ps3 controllers are. Just when it comes to wired/wireless. The ps3 controllers seem to have noticeable latency.

I try to use wired connections as much as possible. No matter how fast it can be. it will always be subject to interference. If your wired mouse isn't working, check if the cable is cut!
If your wireless mouse isn't working, are you:
    Near a microwave?
In a room where lots of signals cross?
    Is Bluetooth enabled?
    Is your dongle plugged in?

I only use a Magic Mouse 1 for its gestures, and only when using a Mac. Otherwise it stays dormant.

FakeKGB reacted to WolframaticAlpha in M1 iPad Pro 56% Faster Than Previous Generation Early Benchmarks Shows
Well, upon taking it to the apple store, which is a 20 km ride away, the store said that it was functioning well(I had to buy my new ipad, so we went along). And it kinda does. It works fine on the home screen and the thing works well on the first day or after a charge. But the OS slows down in 1-3 days, even with 40-50% charge. No such problem on an android tablet, which despite sucking hard, still don't slow down in performance like that.

No such problems on the air.

If the apple store said that there is no problem, then why should the customer assume that something is wrong? Even in benchmarks, it performs according to expectations, and had 26 more points than a standard benchmarked ipad 7, in geekbench 5 multicore

I once asked my sister if she wanted Adblock on her Chromebook. She said no.
I explained what it did and she said no.

Fast forward two weeks while in the car:
"Yeah, whenever I try to watch YouTube I get lots of ads!"
Me: <turns around> "Did you know that Adblock can fix that?"

Must be one empty slot between them. and ideally the furthest slot from the cpu must be filled and then the slot to the left, with one slot left empty.

so basically if slot closest to the cpu is number 1, place the memory sticks in slot 2 and 4
