on so from what I know I can still do things on my pc while the screen is black, I haven't done any test or trouble shooting. I have a Ryzen 7 3800x and a 2070 super founders edition. I experienced this once in the past when i was testing a different computer on this monitor so that's what I'm lead to believe the problem is.

I've had my pc and gpu for a few months now with no problems. In the last week however I keep seeing little artifacts or white dots on my screen that are very noticeable on black backgrounds. That wasn't a problem though until my screen start going black few a few seconds every minute it happens in all programs and has happened about 7 times while typing this. it wasn't doing any of this before and the connection on the cord is secure, any suggestions?

Update and this part really confused me, my pc detects them but only as an input device, my speaker does come with 2 jacks 1 for speaker 1 for mic so I made sure I was using the sound one and I am.

So I was rerouting my microphone cable and doing some general cable management and normal stuff like that. When I get get done, everything on my pc worked great except the speakers, the have power and are on as well as plugged in to the Line-Out port (was working before) but now pc pc doesn’t detect them. I didn’t do anything to my knowledge that would have damaged the cord and it is plugged in all the way. I really don’t know what to do.

So as mentioned I have a AMD Athlon X4 860K with a MSI A68HM-E33 V2 mother board. I’m looking for a decent cpu cooler under 50$ for it but don’t know what’s compatible. Any suggestions?

So I recently got a motherboard from a pc that I got and it got only has a 4 pin for the cpu. I figured I could just not plug one of the 4 pins in that are standard on most psu’s but I just wanna make sure

So I’m working on my grandparents old pc from 2011, they wanted me to change out the HDD for them so I did. Well the first drive I tried didn’t have windows on it but I got it to post. Then I changed out the drive with one from my second pc with windows on it and it does post but doesn’t load into windows. It’s just a black screen with a white blinking line like it wants me to type. I can get into the bios and changed the boot order to the HDD and not the optical drive but still nothing. Any suggestions?

So I was in my bios to enable my new ram and I decided to try overclocking. So I have a ryzen 7 3800x and a b450 tomahawk max. My cpu has a base clock of 3.9 and a boost of 4.5, so I did some research made sure it had the right voltage and did a minor boost to 4.1. So when I exited the bios I went into a great screen but I have it a bit and still nothing. I manually restarted and it did the same thing no branding or anything so I know it’s not just windows. Everything works on my pc and all the rgb is active but I’m scared and don’t know what to do.
