  1. Thanks a lot! Are there certain brands/models of splitters I should look out for, or does it not matter?
  2. I'm going to use an ASUS Strix X570-E for my next build, and I need some help with my fan headers. I'll be using it with a Phanteks P400A-Digital (3 ARGB fans) and a Noctua NHU12S (just the included 1 fan) The manual mentions the following headers: (manual, page 1-18) Obviously, the Noctua goes into the CPU_FAN and 2 case fans go into the CHA_FAN headers. Where do I plug in the third case fan? Is the M.2_FAN header okay to use?
  3. I'm planning to get a Strix B550-F (WiFi) for my next build (next choice is an MSI Gaming Edge but I was convinced that ASUS software and reliability is better). I'm aware that the B1/B2 revisions had faulty and inconsistent Intel I225-V LAN. I've been trying to look for a B3 version, but the popular vendors in my area have been so difficult when asked about these details about their B550-F motherboards (which is a rant for another day) I won't be able to maximize the 2.5Gbit LAN (at least not for now), but I may be utilizing 1 gigabit LAN within a few months. I'
  4. Thank you guys for your input! I'm gonna change up my build now haha I'll try my best to score a B550-F that has working LAN.
  5. That's a very good point. How about the software side? Is one significantly better than the other?
  6. I can't decide between the Gaming Edge WiFi and the B550-F WiFi, since both are similarly priced in my area. I'm planning a new build with the ff specs: 5800x w/ Noctua NHU12S chromax 3080 or 5800xt 2 m.2 SSDs (1 gen3 and 1 gen4) 2x8gb Trident Z Neo 3600 Corsair RM850 Phanteks P400A Digital Here are some comparisons I found: (r/buildapc thread) (Tier List on Reddit) What are your opinions? Looking back at what I've written, it does seem like the Gaming Edge is better for me, but the biggest deal breaker for me is the software (I se
  7. I'm assuming this'll be in the case accessories then. (I'm sorry about being anxious about this haha just don't wanna mess up) Thanks a lot!
  8. I'm planning to make my first build in a Phanteks P400A Digital, but I don't know if the motherboard standoffs are pre-installed or if I have to worry about them. Do I have to install them? or are they ready to go, so I just have to screw in my mobo? I know its a small, dumb, detail, but I'd hate to mess something up on my first build.
  9. Sadly, it seems like all the 850w-capable UPS units in my area are expensive >.< Look like I'll have to save up for a bit Thank you for your help!
  10. I know this isn't exactly "Cases and PSUs," but I want to get a UPS for my new system because I'm worried about power outages affecting my next build (especially when flashing the BIOS). The only articles I could find regarding the idle system wattage were from 2008 and 2010, where they said a computer would reach about 200w under load. What wattage/other specs should I look for in a UPS? I plan to use an 850w PSU with the following specs: CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x/5800x GPU: TUF 3080 / maybe 6800XT RAM: Trident Z Neo 3600 16gb/32gb in the future MOBO: MS
  11. Oh okay. Thanks man! You've helped a ton haha
  12. Yes, I'm aware of that. It's just that the setup for the P400A fans to sync with my MB is confusing for me haha.
  13. So I take two (6+2) PCIe cables, clip the 6 and 2 together properly, then I can pop that into the GPU?
