Btw, just so you can see what it would do with a legitimate card. This is my Samsung Evo 32GB microSD and shows what you should've seen, more or less, had yours been legitimate, test finished without errors.

All I can say, is don't buy SD cards from Ebay. Get them on Amazon or a reputable store.

Right now I'd be tempted to say the SD card is a fake and is actually only 16GB in reality (or 14.9GiB, as you can see being shown here)
This isn't normal. You could let it complete or just stop it there. Contact the seller with your findings (take plenty of screenshots, maybe take a video with your phone showing the SD card being scanned, stop the scan, remove the sd card, show it well... Basically as much "proof" as you can get that this is the SD card you received that is being scanned).
If they call you a liar or whatever else and refuse to actually be of help, report them to ebay and you will more than likely get your money back.

Ah, it doesn't matter. If the USB port it's plugged into is USB 2.0, the slower speed is to be expected too.
Just make sure you plug the laptop to charge, wouldn't want the battery to run out while it's testing. You can do other stuff while it does this, as long as you don't close the software or the laptop.

SceneManager.LoadScene("Scene Name", LoadSceneMode.Single); // Alternatively you can use the index specified in the build parameters of the project int sceneIndex = 1; SceneManager.LoadScene(sceneIndex, LoadSceneMode.Single); I highly suggest looking at the documentation Unity has available because it has numerous examples available and it is easily searchable.

Probably not. Unless it says specifically "Cherry MX Brown" it's probably fake. Tawny Axle sounds like some sort of bad translation that was supposed to say 'light brown shaft' or something.

You need to write a script that will open the menu and pause the game at the same time

I assume you noticed that the `public float breakForce = 100f;` isn't actually being used on line 54. Not super familier with Unity but  you could try setting a negative motorTorque or value far exceeding "3500f". Or could be something to do with the "Slip based friction model" -> https://docs.unity3d.com/2020.1/Documentation/ScriptReference/WheelCollider.html

You should set motor torque to 0 when braking. Otherwise you will apply a braking force but continue to apply power whilst braking.

No I do not think this could have messed up you USB port because if it got hot enough to mess up your USB port it problaby would have caused more than just 1 problem. how old is this system and what are the specs?

Blow off the ends of the cable and where it plugs into the VCR and the recorder.

    Huh, that is very strange.
Can you try recording again and see if anything changes, it could have been a slightly disconnected or out-of-position cable that reseated itself eventually.

Is that OBS, just want to make sure.
I'd try unplugging the adapter, closing OBS, plugging back in, and re adding it in OBS.

Any laptop will thermal manage itself. you can game on anything it will jsut run warm. If the system detects it being to hot it will downclock or shutdown if your suffocating it in somthing. There is no reason to stop!

Agena_ reacted to AnirbanG007 in Can me gaming damage my laptop
I don't think gaming would damage your laptop, even if the cooling is insufficient, laptops have built in safety features to automatically shut down the laptop if temps exceed safe limits. Happened with me during video rendering.

Having said that, I wouldn't be comfortable in pushing my laptop to the extremes, even if it is technically 'safe'. I was having heating issues due to dried up thermal paste and dust clogging the system. After fixing those, I now play games at 1024*768 and limit my fps to 30 just so that temps don't exceed the 60 degree C mark.

However, before cleaning my laptop it used to idle at 77 deg C, and would render videos at 90 plus. It didn't damage the processor as they are capable of hitting 100 before shutting down, the motherboard and other components seems fine too, and this was the condition of my system for 2.5+ years, although I am not comfortable with so much heat. I had just stopped playing games altogether.

In conclusion, I guess you could play extensively, it won't damage your laptop if you play for too long, but I would recommend taking breaks, or limiting fps because I like my temps cool relatively speaking.

Agena_ reacted to LogicalDrm in WHY ARE FREE GAMES CRITICISED
Same reason why Youtubers get constantly critized by fans for their ad spots, for them releasing exclusive content on paid platforms, for asking to like/subscribe/bell and so on. If you aren't paying for the big product, you are paying little things.

In games these started as ads and loot boxes. Then came boosters and life limits. Now its so much variation between from single skins to pretty much anything. The "hate" comes from the point where payment is required to get anything done. There's usually a line between well-made game where you don't need to spend any money, but start might be rough if you aren't into genre or good gamer in general. Or game is hard from start, shoving ads to your face and limiting your every action to the point where you either uninstall the game, or start paying to get your experience started.

I've played and dropped several such mobile games. The funniest of this in one game I got on Steam. It was originally mobile release, so the pay-to-play mechanics were still in there. But since I had paid price for it (something like €7 I think), I could skip them.
