  1. True, but I don't really have the time/energy to go ahead and basically rebuild my pc after getting a new case. If size is an issue then that kinda gives me more of a reason to just get a prebuilt since that's also the easiest way to get a 3080. Like Wavem2 said though, there are 3080 Tis out there that are about 300mm long, which gives me about an inch of space left over so I guess that's fine.
  2. Hi, i'm planning on getting a 3080/3080ti non FE but i'm not sure if the card will fit my case. My case is Thermaltake VN300M1W2N Chaser MK-I Full Tower, it states that it has a max length of 330mm and most cards out there max out at about 325mm which barely fits my case. Should I just not worry about it and continue hunting for the GPU or am i going to have to get a new case?
  3. can you guys tell me if a 3080/3080ti will fit my case? Thermaltake VN300M1W2N Chaser MK-I Full Tower. I need an answer as soon as possible.
  4. True, I like my 1080 Ti, but I really want raytracing especially after looking at some of the games announced at E3 like Stalker 2 and many others.
  5. Country: US Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA gaming Current Rig: i7 8700k @ 4.3ghz EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC 16gb ddr4 Corsair Vengeance ram Corsair TX850w PSU (old psu, needs an upgrade) Z370 Aorus Gaming 7 mobo Hi, I have been trying like so many others out there to get my hands on a 3080 or a 3080 Ti for quite a while now, but I started to give up and I've been thinking about just getting a whole new pc from Ibuypower or something since it seems to be my only option if I want to have a 3080 anytime soon. However, if I get a
  6. Hello, since the release of Watch Dogs Legion I had Uplay+ to try out Legion and AC Valhalla and unfortunately I seem to be having a big crashing issue with these 2 games. I don't really crash in any other game but then again I haven't played a whole lot of anything else recently. The first Crash I had in watch dogs was so bad that my monitor pretty much couldn't detect anything and when it came back, there was some artifacting at the top of the screen. That kind of crash never happened again, but still Uplay+ games just crash to desktop and fails to sync save or something. Does anyone know wh
  7. I hope so, but is there any chance that I might be limited if I ever decide to overclock in the future? I might get a 3080 that's factory overclocked so I don't really know if that factory overclock will push me over 850w or not. Maybe I should've waited and got the 1000w when its available? idk. These calculators are making it seem like 850w is barely enough if I want to overclock at all.
  8. So I've used this power supply calculatorhttps://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator and after putting in all my components it recommends a 620w power supply, but if i increase the overvoltage/core and memory clock plus cpu vcore and speed, it recommends a 1000w power supply. Does that mean i'll be very limited when it comes to overclocking? Here is what i put in the calculator... 8700k with cpu speed of 4.7mhz and 1.3v vcore 90% TDP 2x 8gb DDR4 RTX 3080 core clock 2004, overvoltage 15%, memory clock 2638mhz 2x SATA SSD 1x CD RW Drive 1x gaming keybo
  9. There is a switch in the back of the HX850w that allows you to switch between single and multi rail. I was asking if I should keep it in single rail or switch to multi.
  10. Alright great, one more question though, should I just use single rail or multi rail with my rig?
  11. Hi I recently bought a Corsair HX850w Platinum psu and I just wanted to make sure that this power supply can easily handle an rtx 3090. Here is my current rig. i7 8700k EVGA GTX 1080TI SC2 16gb ddr4 corsair vengeance ram, Aorus gaming 7 z370 motherboard 2 SSDs 3x 200mm fans 3x 120mm fans
  12. I just went for the 860 evo. Finally, no more having to constantly uninstall games to make space for others. Thanks for the help.
  13. No need for m.2, just a good Samsung SATA SSD. Honestly I lost the screws that came with the motherboard for the m.2 so probably can't install it anyway. i7 8700k EVGA GTX 1080TI SC2 16gb ddr4 corsair vengeance ram, Aorus gaming 7 z370 motherboard Corsair TX850w psu
  14. Any suggestion for a better Samsung SSD?
