  1. Hello, since the release of Watch Dogs Legion I had Uplay+ to try out Legion and AC Valhalla and unfortunately I seem to be having a big crashing issue with these 2 games. I don't really crash in any other game but then again I haven't played a whole lot of anything else recently. The first Crash I had in watch dogs was so bad that my monitor pretty much couldn't detect anything and when it came back, there was some artifacting at the top of the screen. That kind of crash never happened again, but still Uplay+ games just crash to desktop and fails to sync save or something. Does anyone know wh
  2. I hope so, but is there any chance that I might be limited if I ever decide to overclock in the future? I might get a 3080 that's factory overclocked so I don't really know if that factory overclock will push me over 850w or not. Maybe I should've waited and got the 1000w when its available? idk. These calculators are making it seem like 850w is barely enough if I want to overclock at all.
  3. So I've used this power supply calculatorhttps://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator and after putting in all my components it recommends a 620w power supply, but if i increase the overvoltage/core and memory clock plus cpu vcore and speed, it recommends a 1000w power supply. Does that mean i'll be very limited when it comes to overclocking? Here is what i put in the calculator... 8700k with cpu speed of 4.7mhz and 1.3v vcore 90% TDP 2x 8gb DDR4 RTX 3080 core clock 2004, overvoltage 15%, memory clock 2638mhz 2x SATA SSD 1x CD RW Drive 1x gaming keybo
  4. There is a switch in the back of the HX850w that allows you to switch between single and multi rail. I was asking if I should keep it in single rail or switch to multi.
  5. Alright great, one more question though, should I just use single rail or multi rail with my rig?
  6. Hi I recently bought a Corsair HX850w Platinum psu and I just wanted to make sure that this power supply can easily handle an rtx 3090. Here is my current rig. i7 8700k EVGA GTX 1080TI SC2 16gb ddr4 corsair vengeance ram, Aorus gaming 7 z370 motherboard 2 SSDs 3x 200mm fans 3x 120mm fans
  7. I just went for the 860 evo. Finally, no more having to constantly uninstall games to make space for others. Thanks for the help.
  8. No need for m.2, just a good Samsung SATA SSD. Honestly I lost the screws that came with the motherboard for the m.2 so probably can't install it anyway. i7 8700k EVGA GTX 1080TI SC2 16gb ddr4 corsair vengeance ram, Aorus gaming 7 z370 motherboard Corsair TX850w psu
  9. Any suggestion for a better Samsung SSD?
  10. Welp, is there any significant difference between these 2 SSDs? Just going to go ahead and get one of them. https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Inch-Internal-MZ-76E1T0B-AM/dp/B078DPCY3T/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=samsung+ssd+1tb&qid=1601400349&sr=8-3 https://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-Internal-Version-MZ-77Q1T0B-AM/dp/B089C73T72/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=samsung+ssd+1tb&qid=1601400349&sr=8-4
  11. Hi, does anyone know of a way to delete the Call of Duty MW campaign and spec ops so I can download this update for season 6? This silly game took up 100% of my drive space because I have two 250gb SSDs on this pc at the moment and the game took up all the space I have available for one of them. I heard there is a way to delete the campaign mode and spec ops from inside the game, but I can't get into the game at the moment because it has to be updated first.
  12. For the first benchmark in rdr2, is that with every single setting maxed out? I just tried maxing everything out and got fps in the low 30s. Aside from the cpu, do you also run an oc on the GPU? Might update my driver to see if it makes a difference.
  13. I've thought about that, but I really don't like buying used parts. You'll never know if the seller used it to mine 24/7 and the card is on it's last legs.
  14. weird because that's not really the case for me. If i max out every setting at 1080p i end up with something like 40-45fps with my setup. I had to set most settings to high in order to get 60+ fps most of the time.
