  1. 1. I could ethernet but my desktops upstairs in my room as my router is downstairs in the living room so ethernet wouldn't be possible without drilling into the wall as we do not own the house would probably haft to ask the landlord which would be useless. 2. I do have an extra PCIe slot as it says on my motherboard manual it also mentions I have another PCIe slot that is a JCI1 which is shorter than the other PCIe that has nothing in it 3.My wireless router is a Sky broadband which supports 2.5ghz and 5ghz
  2. I currently use a network dongle but after playing games at only 2.5ghz of network coming through I realised It may be better to get a network card. Is there any that can stream, Game, help do my everday tasks such as college work and has a good range to work with?
  3. I was wondering to get an RTX graphics card but I need to know which one is best, are they worth it and will it work with a 500w power supply?
  4. oh ok I see what you mean now but there is a problem I can't remove the front panel as its literally part of the case. There is no way to take it off but I can move one of the fans from the top to the rear
  5. Thanks for this but I don't understand by what what you mean on HDD cage and the front panel my hardware monitor application says these temps but not sure if they're good or bad
  6. Hey I want to know if there is a certain way to make air cooling effiecient I have a ID-COOLING SE-224-XT White CPU Cooler, 1x Corsair AF120 Air Series, 120 mm LED Low Noise Cooling Fan and 3 other fans that came with my MSI MPG SEKIRA 500G Full Tower Gaming Computer Case. So is there a certain layout to put these fans for efficient air cooling? 7. I am currently looking for an internal sata dvd drive and I have a old PC in my grandmas and that has a optical dvd drive in it so is it possible for it to be used on my build bare in mind the computer used to run windows XP
  8. Hey everyone I am unsure if this motherboards has built in sound before I decide if it needs a sound card. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0886QMZLL/?coliid=I32PTZ5EZIRFMA&colid=1A1UIABNNSJWV&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it_im
  9. I did make another post so you guys are able to catch up with my situation
  10. I have ended up changing the graphics card because the calculation was way over 500 odd watts I've just seen a video showing a simple method of finding it out by finding the wattage from the cpu and gpu and times them both 1.5 intel i5 - 125W x 1.5 = 187.5 GTX 1660Ti - 120W x 1.5 = 180 180 + 187.5 = 367.5 367.5 x 1.5 = (551.25) So I am assuming a 600W PSU will do fine with this
  11. ah ok then do you think this power supply will do?
