Major step up from his i7 that came in around 1500. Still need to do some tweaking in the BIOS. Guess he wont be coming out of his Dungun for a while... Wont overclock initially but might. Basically going to be a gaming rig. He got an RTX2070 from his old system he planning on dropping in it... Don't want it to sound like a jet taking off or anything so a low level of noise would be acceptable... If he went AIO was thinking Fractal Design Celsius S36 Blackout....

Son going to build a system around the above processor (does not want to wait for stock of the new Ryzen 5x series to come in stock (and its on sale cheaper than the Ryzen 7-5800) It comes with its own fan (RGB Wraith Prism Cooler, 105W), but wondering should he opt for other option. AIO or Noctua solution? Leaning towards an Phanteks Eclipse P600S PH-EC600PSTG for the case....
