  1. As an update to this i found if i turn 10bit colour to 8bit it fixes it, is this a monitor defect this panel is meant to be 10bit.
  2. Yes HDMI work, but need DP for 144hz.
  3. Nope Disabling GSYNC did not improve it, neither did putting my refresh rate to 60/144
  4. I bought a new display port lead because i thought it was causing artifacting, i recorded my screen and it didn't show up so i ruled out GPU problem. New displayport lead arrives and no change, so i was thinking maybe the connector. Tried a different monitor it worked, but it was only 1080p. so i tested the monitor i have the problem on in 1080p instead of 1440p. and it works. i have no idea where to go from here. Attached a video of the problem. 2070_test..MOV
  5. Took a video of it, not the best of quality but if u keep a eye on the rock you will see it trim.51BD817A-E3C0-424A-B4B3-091EA2525B31.MOV
  6. Just went to the driver that was not working downclocked it by 500 mhz and ye it didnt do it anymore. so its a memory issue not a driver? And now i put it back to standard clock, and its not doing it, i'm so confused.
  7. Yes it happens randomly in games as well.
  8. 2070 GPU I've been noticing a lot of random light flickers/texture flicker and some artifacting randomly, but i can always see it in the same spot in a msi kombustor benchmark. I've used DDU to uninstall my drivers. I tested again and it worked no more artifacting in kombustor. I've tried multiple drivers until i finally got one that didn't cause this issue. it was 446.14 driver. the problem is this driver is like 8 updates ago about 6 months. And they never fixed this issue, or is it my graphics card that is the issue? Most of the games that came out
  9. I took another photo more accurate to what i actually see, is this still bad imo i think it is but as my first ips im not sure.
  10. I don't really notice the orange. but the bottom left is really noticeable in dark games, and is even worse when in a dark room. LG 27GL850
  11. I been looking around and i think i narrowed it down to https://www.asus.com/Monitors/ROG-SWIFT-PG279QE/ - 4ms 1440p gsync IPS https://www.asus.com/Monitors/ROG-Strix-XG279Q/ 1ms gsync compatible IPS https://www.asus.com/uk/Monitors/ROG-Swift-PG278QE/ 1ms gsync TN On paper it looks like XG279Q is the better choice but abit worried about it not being native gsync. My first choise was PG279QE for the IPS, but then i started looking into response times and saw you get blur and ghosting so that has kinda put me off. I do play
