  1. Current Parts List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/z2YF27 I have recently built this system and have been using it for around two weeks now. I have been using the Sapphire connected to two monitors for multitasking purposes. The only issue I am having is when playing games varying from games like Dead Cells to Far Cry 3 my main screen holding the game will go black for a few seconds and then come back for a minute or two till it happens again this typically persists till I close out of the game. Making sure to have nothing else open or not have things on the other monit
  2. That is one I have used it tells me its capping at 100 degrees Celsius
  3. Currently having issues with my PC running high on Temp while this is an older picture of the speccy I have had three programs tell me my CPU is exceeding 90 Degrees Celsius trying to play games, install them, if its something like CIV VI at the lowest settings. I think cooling can definitely be improved. I am using the stock cooler on the CPU and only have one intake fan on my case. As I have been learning more on computer cases recently I think my case has 1 more obvious intake spot and spots for three different outtake fans. Before I go buying anything I wanted to ask what your opinions are
  4. Upgrading Cooling is a thing Right? If so I can do without for now and see how it goes if its too loud or I am having these issues then maybe I upgrade?
  5. Thanks and I feel somewhat similar about COVID having no end in sight. I found the PSU scratch suggested earlier and while it doesn't show up on PC part picker I'm happy it exist on newegg. About the cooling I mostly chose it since I have seen it in multiple TU150 builds on PC Part Picker so I know it fits. But I am more doing it because it seems to be a trend. I went down to the non-pro version saving $10 but am open to ones that can keep my computer quiet for less. Also in the builds I saw it was common to have at least 2 more fans since the case itself doesn't have a

  7. Apologies if this comes off as incompetent. Let's get off the of the Pcie stuff for now since I am getting more and more confused as I to comprehend the point being made. You said you don't like the GPU market at the moment. I assume that is because of price increases correlated to the COVID situation. Even still with no real "solution" to COVID in-sight do you think upgrading my current NVIDIA GTX 960 to something like the RX 5700 or a GTX 2070 would be a good decision to avoid potential price increases going into the next half of the year. If you have a specific GPU recommendation I would al
  8. Not as knowledgeable as I should be when it comes to the terminology, but if I am understanding this right. Then you have said my Motherboard has PCIe 3.0 slots (age) and the newer graphics card use PCie 4.0 lucky for me though Pcie 4.0 GPu's are backwards compatible meaning I can get one of those now and whenever I decide to upgrade the entire system I can put it in my new machine that would likely have PCIe 4.0 slots. An example you gave is the Raedon RX 5700 but that isn't much of a lowball. I think is the right interpretation. Sorry trying to learn. Then my question to you beca
  9. Sorry I had to look up what the ampere was. So do you recommend just getting an updated graphics card and waiting till a big sale before upgrading the system?
  10. Ah actually I have another post where I'm trying to deal with some blue screen issues with it rn. Other than that my games started tanking so an upgraded gpu might be good especially if its something I can move over to a new build afterwards. When you say downsizing is an issue what do you mean, cause I meant if I downsized it would be a new system or are their issues there as well?
  11. That's the feeling I was getting do you suggest trying an ITX build or sticking to a full size tower if I am about to go to college with the new machine.
  12. Running the sfc now, I believe I've done it before and it did repair some files but did not stop the crashing. Will look into prime95 after and seeing how that goes. The clean windows install is probably going to be what I do tomorrow if nothing else works.
  13. I did a thorough air clean spray today making sure to get all the nooks and crannies. I never did overclock the machine since I didn't (and still don't) know how to do it properly and the system till now operated fine. My dad suggested a full reinstall which is probably going to be the plan tomorrow but I wanted to see if anything else could be the case. I have set them all to factory specs (still crashed), minimum specs (still crashed) and NVIDIA recommended specs for my hardware (Was maxed out and of course crashed faster). For storage windows is on a Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500gb an
