  1. I just got a new m.2 ssd for christmas, but when I put it in my pc it took me straight to bios. I can try to boot as many times as I like, it always takes me to bios. When I remove the M.2 it goes through normal boot priority and takes me straight into windows with no issue. I was all over my bios boot page trying to figure out why to no avail. What can I do to have the ssd installed AND get it to follow boot priority? Testing: the SATA Information only displays my main 120 gb boot drive and no other drive installed (i have 4 including the m.2) Windows detects these drives and that
  2. I totally understand that, I want to use the m.2 as a storage drive, I already have a drive with an OS on it. When the M.2 is installed I can't boot into windows even manually, but when I remove the M.2 it boots with my main windows drive automatically.
  3. Very weird update: the SATA Information onlly dislays my main 120 gb boot drive and no other drive installed (i have 4 including the m.2) Windows detects these drives and that's where I store all my games. When in the boot menu it detects what I believe is the m.2 (because it's 1tb) and my main boot drive. This is super confusing. How can windows detect a drive but bios can't.

  5. we're just adding players until the thing starts to get a few ticks behind. 6 at most. I saw what you were saying, but i'm struggling to find something that won't break the bank on purchase. hopefully ddr3 since I already have some.
  6. I haven't spent a dollar on the system so far, so I'm trying not to drop any big bucks on new parts. a whole new system isn't really in the question
  7. I'm trying to upgrade a dedicated Minecraft server I made from Frankensteining two old ass pcs together. It works great, but it's running on minimum hardware and I'd like to have a small community (about 20 people at once max) able to play, so I'm trying to upgrade it. It currently has an i3 530, 6gb of ddr3 (frequency unknown 1333 max supported), and a TB hard drive (slow as molasses even for an HDD). I was thinking about an i7 860 since that's the max supported chip, but I would have to get a graphics card. I really have two questions. If I get the i7, what card should I get to output to my
