CWALD got a reaction from weeblord in Triggering a Bluetooth key lock app remotely
Bringing her iOS version up to the same as yours might fix it but there is no guarantee. Alternatively a lot of door locks that work that way come with a service, you might be able to call them up and help you troubleshoot.

If you can remote into an android device you shouldn't need bluetooth pasthrough, just install the app on the device staying by the door and use it on there through the remote session.

Remoting into a windows device will only work if there is a windows app for it.

I am not sure how you go about remoting into iOS devices. Apple often has there own solutions for that type of thing so you can probably find it on the google fairly easily.

Also, you could just give her the key or pin code to open the door manually without the app. Going old school, I know, lol.

    Good luck!

Dell does the same thing on their workstations.  Here is a pic of the port on a dell 7820.

The card would sit above the first CPU.

Or even just get a better prebuilt to be honest, since getting advice before buying will lead to better value even there.

@CWALD @WaggishOhio383 Thank you both very much for your support and assistance. Just wanted to give you an update on the current developments. Since it looked like we had exhausted almost every possibility, i tried plugging in a different PSU, and... it worked. So the only logical thing was to buy a new one, and i got a HX1000i today. Plugged it in, and it worked (had to say goodbye to my custom sleeved cables ._.). Just had a little problem on the first start when he told me "CPU Over Voltage Error", but it apparentely fixed itself by restarting. I have then re-enabled XMP and i'm still monitoring the VCore via software cause... well, you never know.
Still no idea how my PSU was fine in the evening and dead (?) in the morning tho, i'll try to reach out to Enermax if they can do something about it, if not i'll still bring it to someone who can properly test it.

Anyway it seems all is running properly now, so thank you very much guys, much appreciated, wish you the best.
P.S. @WaggishOhio383 I though about it but it would've been weird since the MOBO is less than a year old. But thanks for thinking about it!

when your motherboard comes on, do the case fans, AIO fans, AIO pump, GPU fans, or power led come on at all?

I know you said you reseated all the plugs on the computer but did you check the monitor in case its just a display issue?

you can also try clearing your cmos

If your concerned about software then unplug the hard drive to see if it will at least post.

normally I would say that software can't affect the computer turning on but windows has a way of interacting with the bios that I don't fully understand, there are ways to schedule a PC to turn on and you mentioned you were using scheduled shutdowns. I would still say the software is a long shot though and would start with the other trouble shooting steps @WaggishOhio383 and myself have suggested.

    Good luck!

If you've had problems with your PSU in the past it might be worth trying to swap it out if you have one available. It can be hard to troubleshoot without a spare if it is your issue.

Yea, try resetting your cmos first and maybe try reseating all of your PSU connections. After that I would guess that something is wrong with your hardware. Most likely PSU, MOBO, or CPU.

    Good luck!

try unplugging and re-plugging in all of the connectors from your power supply, including the ones plugging into the PSU itself if its modular.

The wifi to Ethernet bridge mentioned before would be your next best bet. Just plug that into the WAN side of a cheap home router and be done. I would be surprised if you spent $50 on both the bridge and router that way and it should still be plug and play.

Never used a V40, so i dont know about that one.
But the software is also a big thing in usability and speed. Samsung has that pretty sorted.
But if its that little of an upgrade, yeah surely dont. Would just be a waste.

Maybe if you a bit handy and the phone is up for it, replace the battery for a new one. 😉

Not a bad thought but while the Note 10 does have a big battery, it is barely an upgrade to the camera and a slight downgrade on the CPU. (although it has a ton of ram, lol).

Thanks but I'm thinking I might hold on to my V40 for a bit.

Depends on your region. In some places used hardware can be just as much as new and in others you will be lucky to get half of market value even if its brand new. I'm located in the north midwest of the United States and craigslist is still a good platform for my area as well as facebook. I would look to see what other people are selling similar hardware for in your area, you will know if they have the price to high if its been up for a long time.
