[HELP] Ryzen 5 1600 with b450m S2H 3000Mhz or 3200Mhz?
JensS replied to Justin57's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
So yeah, there are a few options to upgrade: -Ryzen 5 1600 is a fine CPU (maybe a bit old), you could upgrade it, but shouldnt be a huge difference -2x8 GB RAM-Sticks (at least 3200MHZ, because thats just faster) -RX5600 or RTX2060 (maybe Super if you can afford it), but you should have at least a 450-550W PSU -Gigabyte B450M is a decent mainboard, you dont need to upgrade it -
Recently I've been working on a HP ProLiant DL360p Gen8 and I had some difficulties with the Intelligent Provisioning. Some files were missing and I downloaded the Intelligent Provisioning Recovery Media from HPE. I created an USB-stick with it and I tried to boot it on my server (no operating system is installed). Now the message "versamenu.c32: not a COM32R image" shows up and I have no idea how to fix it. Does anyone maybe know something about this?

Is the Microsoft Laptop 3 worth it ?
JensS replied to Coulous's topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
Depends on what you need. If you need more storage, take the one with more storage. Need more RAM? take the one with more ram. -
yeah, the RTX 2060S is a little bit cheaper (40-60CHF)
-
I recently did some research about the RTX-series. Now, my question is, what is better, RTX 2060 Super or RTX 2070? RTX 2070 has slightly better performance, but the RTX 2060 Super isn't that "old". Any suggestions?

I mean AMD isnt bad, but I wouldnt recommend it for graphics cards. I've heared lots of shit about them. Thats why i'd recommend NVIDIA
-
Why would you want to do that?

Good Laptop vs. Good PC + decent Laptop
JensS replied to Joshua Castilleja's topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
Well, in my opinion then, you should go with the ASUS laptop (from your recommendations) . It isdecent for a decent price. You can ask others for their opinion but i'd go like that -
well, if you trust the manufacturer, sure
-
thats over the budget
-
I'd say the best for this price are: AMD RX 580, NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti or NVIDIA GTX 1660. But if you want to play "modern" games, you should invest more (at least GTX 1070)
-
No, it cant. You need at least integrated graphics on your cpu. Otherwise it cant display it

uhm, first of all, what kind of games do you intend to play (fps-games, triple a games) and second, you should just buy a gaming laptop, because option B is kinda stupid, if you need to travel. You would pay more than you want to. -
My personal favorite is KeePass (its free though)
-
i didnt ask about your usage though. Maybe you (or someone else) fucked up the building
