At the the moment I'm looking for a new gaming laptop for my freshman year of uni for comp sci/engi with a 6-12 hour battery life, I currently found three laptops with decent specs for the price. ASUS - ROG Zephyrus 14" Gaming Laptop - AMD Ryzen 9 - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Legion 5 Pro Gen 6 AMD (16”) - $1,699.99 with a ryzen 7 5800H - RTX 3060 Legion Slim 7 Gen 6 (15" AMD) with a Ryzen 7 5800H- RTX 3060 Does anyone recommend any one of these laptops for their battery life? If so, whats your experience with the laptop? If not, do you have any recomm
  2. I haven’t looked at the laptop market for the past year or two and I’m looking for information behind the current state of the laptop market. I’m also planning to buy a new laptop for CS class to fit my needs. I’m going to need the laptop to do the following. Also my budget is barely under $2000 and I’m primarily shopping at Best Buy since it is more convenient for my Dad. Gaming ( I’m not playing any modern titles, Im currently playing Guilty Gear Strive and forza horizon 4) Have a pretty good battery life if I’m going to be in class with it, I would say more t
  3. I’m looking for some openback/over-ear headphones under $150, I only use headphones for music and consuming media. My previous research for this price point led me to a bunch of conflicting ideas, I just want to see your recommendations at this price point. The devices that I use primarily to drive my other headphones/IEMs are my iPhone 7 and my Fiio btr3k.
  4. Have you tried playing some JRPGS? I was in the same spot as you're currently in. One day, I decided to play some JRPGS since I never played any JRPG game before. I found the Shin Megami Tensei Mainline series to be fun with the dark setting/story. While there aren't any mainline SMT games for PC there is Persona 4 (a SMT spin-off series) on steam, I can't really say much about the game itself but people seem to love the game.
  5. Friend is looking for a laptop for daily use that also can play modern games decently. His budget is $1200, doesn't want a gaming laptop that is thick and heavy, would prefer a system that is decent size where he would be able to play fairly easy to run games with some modern games running decently.
