$10 says he was a dumbass and clicked or downloaded something he shouldn't have.

What happens when the car in front of you kicks up a rock and sends a crack across the windshield? Pay thousands of dollars each time it happens? Like said above, no thanks. If you really want information shown on the windshield, a HUD is currently a much better option.

Definitely agree with this, that's basically the only reason the cables are somewhat managed in my system

Too large to comprehend. Although if you boiled out the useless posts on this forum, you'd probably be looking at like 5KB max lmfao.

The_russian reacted to Oshino Shinobu in Can I use cat 6 rj45 connector for cat5e cable?
The Cat6 RJ45 connectors have staggered wires, whereas the Cat5e and under are level.

EDIT: @daividgSomething you might notice with using Cat5e cables in Cat6 connectors is that the wires on Cat6 are generally slightly thicker, so in turn the connectors are also slightly larger, so the cables might not get clamped as well as they should.

Thats 4 months, I would have started my chargeback process after a month tops. I suggest you to do that ASAP.

Why not enable DNS over HTTPS (DoH) if that is your goal? It is free (as apposed to most VPNs being advertised on YouTube), and most web browsers including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Brave allow you to enable DoH, which as far as I can tell would achieve the same thing for your use case. If I misunderstand how DoH works, feel free to correct me.

The_russian got a reaction from FakeKGB in Socketed GPU?
There's nothing wrong with coming up with new ideas but if you want the ideas to get any further than just a thought or fantasy, you have to be able to take criticism and actually address the problems that come along with the idea. Another thing to think about is considering "should we" do something before "can we" do something. Just because something is possible to do, doesn't mean it is a good idea. This idea has been brought up countless times over the last couple decades and is by no means a new idea. If it was as good a solution as you seem to think it is, it would have been done already.

The_russian got a reaction from XXOUTT in Response to Linus' Terrible Non-Apology About RAID Sponsorship
I think what causes problems like this for LTT is they say they vet sponsors and stand behind the products they advertise. I think it would be better if they said: "Look, just treat our sponsors like you would any other ad on a random website. A company paid to have their product show here, nothing more to it."
    Fixed that for you.

I would turn him down, the last thing you want is for something to go wrong or not work exactly as they expected and then try and push everything on you. You will become their IT guy and it will be expected because you're "family".
