PC wont turn on after transferring components into a new case
swftre replied to swftre's topic in Troubleshooting
Well, I'm an idiot. I accidentally plugged one of the 4pin cpu connectors upside down. Thank you for helping!!!! -
I just got a new case today, and I have just finished transferring my components from an old case to the new one. However, as soon as I plugged in everything, the PC wouldnt turn on. What could the problem be, and how could I fix it? Note : I was just using the PC before I transferred my components to the new case, and everything was working just fine.

My new motherboard is a Gigabyte A320M-S2H V2 which came with a Ryzen 3 3200G. I noticed that the motherboard has an 8 pin power connector for the CPU and the PSU that I currently use only has 1 4 pin. Since the processor only has a 65w TDP, is it alright for me to use the single 4 pin until I can get a PSU upgrade?

I'm looking for a new air cooler so I can swap out my stock AMD heatsink and fan. What would be a really good cooler for under $20?

I recently installed a brand new processor onto my PC, an AMD A8-7680. A few days after doing so, I noticed that my PC was heating up too much (CPU reaching 97 degrees celsius on HWinfo, Motherboard reaching 118 degrees celsius). I purchased an 80mm fan which I installed as an exhaust fan, then considered purchasing a 120mm fan as an intake fan which I planned to install on the side panel of my case (Fortress Magnus Micro ATX). However, a friend disagreed with my plan, stating that it I shouldn't install a fan on the side of my PC, even though it looks like the case can support it. What should
