I had a few minor issues with Zen1, but Zen3 has been nothing but stable as well. All of the issues are overblown.

I'll preface this. I haven't done hardly any research into this.
I wonder if it's motherboard side issues and not CPU side. I've got a MSI and haven't had any drop out issues. I built my AMD rig on Christmas last year and haven't had any issues with it that I didn't cause.
No, you're not. I haven't even had any driver issues with my 6800xt yet.

I am the only person on the planet who has not experienced any issues with the AM4 platform and Zen3. I jumped in fully expecting a shitload of hassles, the kind you get from building a frustration box. Instead I have had such a good experience. Its been just as, if not more reliable than some of my past Intel setups. The last time I was using AMD 939 was @ retail and I had all kinds of issues using Asus, Abit, and OCZ. Most of the time it was good, but when things got bad.. I just sold all of it and bought a Conroe. Eleven six is a great CPU. But so is the one you have. I know, I am running the piss out of mine and it loves it. I wish I could abuse my 5900X like this lol. She gets warm at the top..

to be fair, rumors for 12th gen doesnt look good, because no leaks excist that would show gaming performance, there is an old ass leak of Dota, but nobody knows whats up with win11 and gaming performance in legacy games so far. AoTS looked promising but you cant really trust that.

From theory 30mb L3 on intel should kick in, its all a matter of the scheduler, if it works good we will see a new gaming king, if it doesnt, we gonna get dissapointed.

the rumors for 12th gen so far doesn't look good, at least for gaming, some going as far as unusable. as for 5600x vs 11600k, i'd pick the 5600x

they're all rumors at this point though. We're far enough away that I wouldn't consider it worth waiting. The 5600X is a great CPU, and should be plenty for the next while.

The 11600k needs a way better cooler than the 5600X does. It draws twice the power when not even boosting and more than triple at max boost speeds. It also doesn't even come with a cooler, so you have to shell out for that no matter what.

Why not just get a better cooler if you want to overclock with PBO?

If you already bought the 5600X, don't bother switching to the 11600k. The only real benefit you'd get is a performance uplift in Intel-optimized workloads (hint: not many exist) and an extra iGPU. Plus, motherboards are a decent amount more expensive on Intel anyway, so you still might end up spending more going Intel than AMD, even though the CPU itself is cheaper.

If you're going to switch CPUs, either wait for Alder lake or go to one of the higher end AM4 CPUs (5900X for example), anything else is just a side grade

I would be interested. I pulled my 5900X out last night and put my 5600X back in. Such an easy CPU to cool 🙂

This is with FC140 and an all core clock of 4700 1.3v

There's also an entry for white version specifically in tier A normal priority because it doesn't have pre-2018 revision.
It is just a Seasonic Focus GM with possibly sleeve bearing fan in some regions, yes. Sometimes it's also quite cheap that it worth the price but usually there are better options.
There are a few proper enough reviews on it, all listed in the spreadsheet for the tier list, also It's pretty much reference design CWT GPU (with different multi-rail config and again, possibly DBB fan in some regions instead of FDB globally) there are plenty of detailed reviews on. I'd consider it a bit better than Antec EA-G \ Seasonic Focus overall.

It's simply a downgraded Seasonic Focus rebranding. MSI MPG or Enermax Rev D.F. is much better.

Pretty much, he was doing PSU reviews for more than 10 years now. First for now defunct Greek website, then for TechPowerUp, Tom's Hardware and briefly Kitguru. Some time ago he also created a Greek YT channel, where they with his wife do various hardware reviews, not only on PSUs, and relatively recently - it's international version in English. Honestly his YT PSU reviews are considerably cutdown compared to article versions, there are some unique ones which there are no published article (yet), and generally video versions appear first but for the most part articles on TPU/THW are more detailed.

Personally the only thing stopping me from buying Corsair high-end is length. Once I unintentionally went 140mm deep, or even better 130mm (in case Leadex V), I can't go back to longer PSUs. The irony is that I ordered a RM650x, but it turned out to be out of stock and impossible to acquire at that time, so I was forced to switch to a Focus Plus Platinum.

I do however think the SFX Corsair SF series is the best thing since sliced bread and I'm absolute smitten by the awesome fan in it, and I dream of day it's sold separately (so I can zip-tie them to stock GPU heatsinks instead of Arctic F9. I also dream of the day Arctic P9 finally comes out, as well.

And last but not least, a collaboration between Enhance (or someone else with a similarly great platform) and Corsair for a Corsair version of the Enhance ENP 7660B Flex ATX PSU, when the demand comes around @jonnyGURU

That thing is insane, coil whine issues aside, just look at the insanity of the marvel of engineering and noise it is, it doesn't ramp up the fan to an audible degree up until 480W, and it doesn't ramp up the fan from the base speed up until 420W at all, and it's a 600W unit, the 80mm fan is that awesome, it's basically the only Flex ATX PSU u don't need to swap a Noctua in. It looks more silent than a Corsair SF600, it's platinum of course, and it's extraordinary high quality.

Once someone breaks in the market of 5-10L volume cases with a popular/cheap product like Cooler Master did with the NR200P, there's gonna be a bigger need for these kind of PSUs.

It's a good PSU. I have one myself. The cables are more flexible than RMx cables. Buy a Fractal Design ION+ if you want flexible cables.
