Gaires got a reaction from Delicieuxz in Crysis Remastered trilogy
Like I said, it's far from perfect but doesn't mean they won't fix the problems. Halo Combat Evolved classic graphics are finally being fixed, 18 years after Gearbox broke them, so maybe Crytek will also commit into fixing the problems Crysis is having.

Other question is will it be too late, they really should have pushed back the release and implement the fixes and dlss into the release version. They might be facing the same problem as No Mans Sky, which apparently is pretty good nowdays, but since it was such a joke when it was released no one cares anymore.

Hopefully the new trilogy won't be Epic Store exclusive, since I only use Steam and GOG. Really wanted to pickup the original remaster too, but I'll wait and see if they release any of the remasters elsewhere.

The first Crysis remaster did get a patch that fixed some of the problems people have pointed out. It's still far from perfect but at least the devs are trying to redeem it.

Gaires reacted to TetraSky in Apple Must Face Lawsuit for Telling Consumers They Can "Buy" Movies, TV Shows
Never understood why/how it's even legal for these services to cut your access to stuff you've bought, at their own whim, without compensation. That's why I hope this guy wins his lawsuit and set a precedent for the digital goods that we buy to be available for complete download to us in the event that they decide to unilaterally cut off your access to it (doubt it will happen, the MAFIAA and others like them who have interest in you not owning anything, will lobby hard to push more laws and crap to prevent that from happening, with braindead politicians taking their bribe money, not read the bills and pass it... So yeah, that's why that's a thing right now, I guess).

To me, cutting access to stuff I've paid actual money to obtain, even if it's digital, is akin to breaking into my house and stealing straight from my shelves. Except the shelve is in a warehouse somewhere being rented from Google/Apple/Valve, etc. Just because they own the shelve, doesn't mean I don't own the content on top (the whole "you own a license and not the actual product" thing is bullshit. Even more so when the digital copy cost as much as the physical copy).

Rtings has pretty decent selection of different kind of monitors and they have an amazing table tool to search for monitors. It does take some time to learn how to use it, mostly to learn the names of the filters you want to use. Thankfully you can find them pretty easily from any of the reviews they have on the site.

They also have a lots of articles where they recommend monitors.

It does get really confusing fast for persons who don't follow tech regulary. There are just too many cards now, I don't understand why we need a card between every 50 bucks or so, but guess it makes Nvidia and AMD more money.

And if the rumours are true and we will get the 3060 8GB, 3060 16gb and 3060 TI, plus other TI models and super cards on top it...

Couple things I dont do in life:

    Sell vehicles to friends
    Involve money in my friendships

Ive learned you just dont do those things, because you ONLY have onus to yourself and your own choices.

For the people in my life where I would involve either of the two above items - I could count those people on less than 5 fingers, because that list is short.  And tbh those people on that same short list, if they needed something, I wouldnt put a price tag on it.  They NEED it.

    TLDR: Money corrupts absolutely.

Not really though. Compilations often have lots of inside jokes and they can be confusing to follow for new people.

My recommendations would be clips with one or two vtubers in it. And since we're on LTT forums, why not suggest a tech talk video.

Hololive is Japanese virtual idol agency who employs roughly 40 virtual youtubers, also known as vtubers. They mostly play games on stream, but they also have karaoke streams and next week they're holding virtual concert. They also do collobrations with companies including Asus, Sega, Nissin and others.
Most of their talent are Japanese, but there's also an English speaking branch, Indonesian branch and they had Chinese branch which they closed this year.

The talents have 2D avatars that they use to stream and their movements are captured by a phone. Sometimes they also do 3D streams where they use full body tracking and have 3D models.

Dead platform so you won't have a much of an upgrade path once the CPU starts to be too slow.
While RX 580 isn't a bad card, you shouldn't buy one new today unless it's 100 euros or so. And again, you again you cannot upgrade the CPU much once it starts to be too slow.
While those CPU's might be faster than the 2600x, you have more processors to choose from once it starts to struggle.

Save some money and use the included cooler. It's easy enough to swap if you find it too loud.
Make sure it will have a support for Ryzen 5000 series.
Is it cheaper than the Be Quiet? You don't really need 700 watts unless you're going to upgrade to 3070 / 3080 / 6800 / 6800xt but in this case you would want a better quality power supply to handle those spikes.
Looking at the pictures it looks pretty bad case for airflow. See if you can find reviews of the case. Gamers Nexus does really good case reviews in Youtube.

It's hard to say from a video.
You might just notice ghosting really easily. Next time you're buying a monitor make sure to pay extra attention to the response times. Even better if the reviewer shows actual numbers and not just a UFO test.

If you don't mind playing with no freesync, you can try the visual response boost (VRB) which should give you better image quality. In the review they recommend using it at 120hz with overdrive set to normal.

Try turning ray tracing off and turn on V-sync, because looking at the video you do suffer from screen tearing so we want to eliminate that as a possibility first.
Freesync should help with this, but you said that didn't make a noticable difference.

Sure, Lenovo has excellent factory calibration and better response times.
Again, if you can get the Asus for cheaper it's not a bad monitor. It does have slightly better contrast and black uniformity while having good enough factory calibration and response times.
You won't have a problem with either one, Lenovo is just a bit better for the same price (USD).

This would also be a decent option. Problem with this one is that it has horrible stand, lacking even height adjustments. But it shouldn't be the biggest problem, since it's an IPS panel, so the viewing angles are good.
