Freaking Google, always with the massive hype but low effort.
Dunno why anyone keeps faith in them.

CalintzJerevinan reacted to Skiiwee29 in What happened to BFG?
BFG went out of business after the 200 series cards.. I had a 260 from them I had to RMA that got fried in a tropical storm when I lived in Hawaii and they wouldn't honor it since they were folding at the time. This was in like 2007/2008? Ended up going down to the Best Buy in Honolulu and buying an XFX HD5770 that is still in use to this day in a media PC at my in-laws house.

If you are corporate customer their support is actually pretty good. When I call directly for support as employee of my company, technician visit me next day and replace broken part on site.
If you are just a single customer just stay away from HP as far as possible.

HP RMA service is bad. Their HP SSD's are a joke. A 3rd party vendor does the RMA for the S700/S700 Pro SSD's RMA's and you have to register the products on HP website and it doesn't work. So make sure to keep the invoice. Then you have to file an RMA on their 3rd party website which is completely broken as well. Also HP is going to destroy the Hyper X name.....

Yes I have. I've sent multiple tickets, multiple phone calls, proof of me not having access and still nothing.

Wow that sucks I always had my original PSN Account with 3 layer security protection since I bought my PS4 Pro. But I heard you don't have a 3 layer security protection on your PSN/Sony Account. It can be hacked very easily.

There are machines that mine without GPUs. Such as AntMiners, however those aren't worth being a profit anymore.

Report: Stadia Blew Millions On Red Dead Redemption 2 And Other Ports
Ethan Gach Summary
Just how badly did Google’s Stadia video game streaming service flop when it launched back in 2019? According to a new report by Bloomberg, it underperformed its sales target by hundreds of thousands of users, despite spending “tens of millions of dollars” secure ports of big blockbuster games.
It’s not hard to see why either, considering many of the features Stadia promoted during its reveal were missing at launch That’s not to mention the leap of faith the business model asked of users requiring them to pay full price for individual games on an as yet untested and unproven new technology.
Meanwhile, Google apparently paid publishers like Ubisoft and Take-Two small fortunes to ensure games like Red Dead Redemption 2 were available on the service when it released. At the same time, the service suffered from a lack of games overall, with Business Insider previously reporting that Google failed to offer enough money to indie developers to win their games over to its burgeoning platform. Some sources within Google wanted Stadia to launch in beta first, growing slowly, according to Bloomberg, but the company ended up rushing to market instead.
Moving fast, maybe too fast, and breaking things appears to be a recurring theme with Stadia. After launching internal development studios to make big first-party exclusives just a couple of years ago, Google suddenly shut the whole thing down February 1, catching both Stadia subscribers and developers by surprise. As Kotaku later reported, Stadia developers learned their studios would be no more at the same time that Google made the news public and less than a week after Stadia VP and general manager Phil Harison sent an email to the team congratulating them on their “great progress.”
This apparent 180 was in line with some current and former Stadia developers’ suspicions that Google went into first-party game development with unrealistic expectations, according to a separate in-depth report out today from Wired.
“I think it’s a lack of understanding of the process,” one source told Wired regarding Stadia’s game development woes. “It seemed there were executive-level people not fully grasping how to navigate through a space that is highly creative, cross-disciplinary.”
In addition to treating game development as a way to show off Stadia’s unique features, rather than prioritizing it in and of itself, a hiring freeze that went into effect once the covid-19 pandemic started made it hard to meaningfully move forward with production. Google CEO Sundar Pichai wrote in an April 2020 email that “momentum in a small number of strategic areas” would continue, but gaming was not considered one of them, reports Wired.
In the meantime, third-party games continue to trickle into the platform’s library. Just this week, Google announced PixelJunk Raiders by Q-Games as a Stadia that will arrive sometime in the future. Still, it’ll take more than that to rebuild the bridges Stadia appears to be very good at burning.
My thoughts
I was never a fan of Stadia however this makes me wonder how many consumers are really using Stadia and Stadia Pro? Because it seems to be another fail product that Google keeps pushing out.

Not sure what HP sees in HyperX to be honest.
Other than the Cloud series of headsets, HyperX isn't really that well-known of a peripheral maker. Their mice and keyboards aren't much special either. Maybe patents? not sure.
As far as I know, the HP EX950 for example uses a controller from Silicon Motion and NAND from Micron.

I have a very hardline stance against drinking and smoking anything - much different from the rest of my family.
I'm an extremely dry and hard-edged person, if me being here for five and a half years didn't give that away.

Tim Horton's iced coffee, when they don't fuck up my order and it's relatively warm.

👀...
Water: Plain water, pls -- not a big fan of sparkling water or seltzers. Green Tea: Grew up on Chinese teas. Longjing/Dragon Well tea (龙井茶) is incredibly pleasant, I'm also partial towards Oolong tea (乌龙茶). Also remember feeling very neutral towards Pu'er tea (普洱茶), although I haven't had that one in a while. Iced Lemon Tea: Safe, easy drink choice when I'm craving something slightly sweet and refreshing. Apple Cider: Sweet on the tongue, and goes down easy. Also, apples. 😋 冰糖雪梨 (Snow Pear w/Rock Sugar): Home remedy for sore throats and coughs. Teeechnically a double-boiled soup? Other ingredients include Goji berries and Chinese dates. Once it's done boiling, my family chills it in the fridge, then pours it in a cup/mug to enjoy. Incredibly light and refreshing drink, ever-so-slightly sweet. I have the occasional boba or grass jelly milk tea, but they tend to be overly sweet and leave a distinct, sometimes dry, aftertaste in my mouth. Particularly strong(?) milk teas leave my throat weirdly sore as well. Always gotta wash it down with some water afterwards. Can't imagine drinking that stuff every day of the week. 😅
Also I tend to stay away from coffee, energy drinks, and sodas. 🤔

Orange juice Apple juice Lemonade Chocolate milk I'm very boring, but unlike my mom, I can tolerate lactose! I also don't drink because that shit's fucking garbage and you're probably garbage for drinking liquor.

Peppermint tea is good I forgot I had a box of them in my tea cabinet. That's some good stuff too.
I'm not a drinker. My Korean side of family has bad issues with any kind of liquor. So I'm showing my family that I'm in self-control and avoiding them. So I don't end up like them. So far I haven't touch a single drop of liquor, beer, wine, or etc.
