Red vs Black USB ports? ?
ItsVisionPone replied to GamerBlake's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
If I am correct then the black USB ports are USB 2.0 and the red ones are USB 3.0 judging from the SS text above them which stands for SuperSpeed :3 -

New Ryzen 3800x running really hot
ItsVisionPone replied to Banastian's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I agree with people saying that you could get a better cooler, in my opinion a cooler from Noctua would be a fantastic option, its cool and its really quiet. I suggest the NH-D15 SE-AM4 However if you still want to stick with the stock cooler for a while then I suggest that you go into your BIOS and look for a feature called AMD Cool'n'Quiet, It works by reducing the processor's clock rate and voltage when the processor is idle. The aim of this technology is to reduce overall power consumption and lower heat generation, allowing for slower (thus quieter) cooling fan operation.(Taken from Wi -
FAN slow to spin at boot-up
ItsVisionPone replied to ItsVisionPone's topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
well I have put them on a custom profile, which has increased fan speed and increased voltage I think, and I dont deal with software cause I'd much rather do it in BIOS to be honest -

FAN slow to spin at boot-up
ItsVisionPone replied to ItsVisionPone's topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
Setting is already put at DC Tried spinning them with my finger once, didnt do any difference -
Hopefully this is posted in the right forum, however my issue is that I own 4x Noctua NF-A14 ULN 140mm (non-pwn) fans and whenever I boot up my PC then it appears that the fans are struggeling to start spinning and it takes like 5-8 seconds before they start at their optimal speed. Any issues?
