  1. I have recently replaced a fan on my computer, as well as cleaned the whole computer from dust. After that the fans started spinning at max RPM as soon as I boot into Windows. Fan speed is normal when in BIOS. Both the CPU and the Chassis fans do this.
  2. Right now I have HyperX Cloud Alpha S and looking to buy some audiophile grade headphones. Aside from the difference in open vs closed back headphones, how does the sound quality compare between my headphone and, for example, HD 6XX? Is it worth upgrading? Additionally, how would the quality compare for these headphones if I also bought a good AMP and DAC combination?
  3. Is there any way to tell what even is a column in that file?
  4. What is .ap file extension? What apps can open this file extension? Attached is a .ap file I got from Synnex. It is supposed to be a list of products they have. 120354.ap
  5. I can not run an Ethernet cable at the moment. However, I did have an Ethernet cable about 2 years ago and it worked without any problems.

  7. I get random ping spikes and packet loss. This happens every 10-30 minutes (every time is different). This happens only on my PC. I have tried: New USB Wi-Fi adapter New PCI Wi-Fi adapter New motherboard Updating firmware Windows factory reset pathping_google.txt
  8. I get random ping spikes from about 30 all the way to 200 every 30 minutes or so. This only happens on my computer and on different wireless adapters. What could be the problem here? Pings to my router: **Sometimes when I run this ping I get packet loss. Might that be the problem? Ping statistics for my.router.ip: Packets: Sent = 50, Received = 50, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 14ms, Average = 0ms Pings to ISP: Ping statistics for isp: Packets: Sent = 30, Re
  9. Sometimes, my sound just switches off and turns into static sound. After about 30 seconds, the sound comes back on. Unplugging the headset and plugging it back in doesn't work. Also, when I play games, for example CS:GO, the game just stops working and doesn't continue working until the sound comes back on. I have no idea what this might be linked to. I have a HyperX Cloud Alpha headset and I also have a USB DAC.
  10. I have an AMD Ryzen 7 2700. When I play games my utilization of the first thread is at about 90%, but all others are at 30% and some are at like 5%. I tried a stress test, and all of the threads were used to 100%. Is this an issue with my computer or it is a widespread problem?
  11. All right! Thank a lot for your help! I never even thought about using a PCIe card, but that might help, since Ethernet works fine. And yeah, as I mentioned, I tried changing WiFi adapters and that didn't help. Also, this problem has been persistent for about 3 months now, so it is not windows update.
  12. That is basically all I have plugged in anyway. My keyboard takes 2 USB ports, and my headphones plug in through USB. As I mentioned, I tried using the rear USB port for the adapter, but it did not change anything. Anyway, I will try again. Do you think the problem might be related to the errors I got in the device manager (screenshots above)?
  13. I am running 2020-01 Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4497165), 64-bit. Other peripherals are connected through USB. I have 4 other devices connected, but they are all connected on the back panel of the computer, separate from the WiFi adapter.
  14. Tried installing the drivers from the manufacturer's website. During the installation it just said "this driver is not compatible with your OS". Although I downloaded the right driver. And yeah, I have tried plugging in to both the front panel and the back panel of my computer, did not change anything.
  15. My WiFi cuts out for about every 30 minutes for a short amount of time. This does not happen on other computers in my house. This also doesn't happen when I am connected through Ethernet. I have tried changing WiFi adapters and tinkering in the network setting, but nothing works. I have made sure to have all of the USB ports and the adapter in a non battery saving mode. I tried uninstalling the device from the control panel, but nothing worked. I have noticed that I am getting some errors in the events of the device.
