I have a set of the Z506 on my TV (in the lounge room), they're plenty loud enough and honestly sound great, I never bothered putting the rears behind, just kinda use it like a 3.1 system.
You won't be disappointed with them.

Do whatever you feel is going to be better, this is a subjective question so there is no right or wrong answer. If you are satisfied with the built in speakers and the headphones then by all means keep using them. Personally if I already had the Logitech Z506 speakers I would set them up.

Tadej Danev reacted to RejZoR in Active 4pin PWM fan splitter
Is there a cheap fan splitter on eBay or AliExpress that can split 1x 4pin PWM into many 4pin outputs in active way opposed to usual passive Y ones? I'd need the following:

1x 4pin input 1x SATA power input (to supply the juice needed for more fans) 3+ 4pin outputs
What I want to achieve with this is run several PWM fans of same model on one motherboard 4pin connector under certain RPM without overloading it or having problems with RPM as you're splitting it with regular Y cables? It's stupid to have cables routed all over my case to use all the 4pin headers where I could use just one to run my whole front panel of 3x fans. I was searching a bit, but I'm not sure under what terms I should be searching for this kind of gadget...

Tadej Danev reacted to Zando Bob in Is 500w enough?
That extra 50W won't mean much, if anything newer hardware will use less power. GPUs for example, the 980 Ti ate 250W to push out performance about on par with a 1070, the 1660 Ti now does almost that same performance level at 120-130W, about half the power consumption. The 1080 Ti ran the same power consumption (250W) for much, much better performance, and the 2080 Ti improved on that yet again while being a few watts lower. I highly doubt GPUs will consume more power in the future, even Vega has been reigned in a bit with Vega II (Radeon VII is the only consumer GPU running this) and that's the hungriest modern arch I know of for GPUs.

You only need to worry about wattages above 500-550W if you're running multiple GPUs, HEDT systems, or older power hungry hardware (I run all of those lol, thus why I have higher wattage PSUs, but those are still overkill for what I've done so far). I could probably still run my X99/Radeon VII system off a 550W PSU, the 1000W PSU I have now is massive overkill. I've ran an i5 2400 and 980 Ti off a 450W PSU, and an i5 8600K OCed to 5GHz with SLI 1080s OCed to 2100Mhz on the core off a 650W PSU. You usually need a lot less wattage than people seem to think, if you're trying to save money then there's very few mainstream setups that will push past 550W.

I cannot believe the sheer amount of disrespect y'all are putting on the Seasonic S12 / M12 series. I have used them exclusively for years now building PC's and have had 0 issues. My most recent build had a M12II Evo 520W powering an i9-9900k, a 1080 ti, 3 ssds, 5 fans, rgb led lighting strips, etc. just fine with absolutely no issues. I have multiple friends with similar builds and the same PSU with no issues. I have built several machines with these power supplies during my previous time of employment at a computer repair shop. 0 issues. I've had nothing bad to say about their power supplies whatsoever.

But seriously, downgrading PSU's entire tiers because of a fan bearing type or type of internal cabling or external cabling is just plain moronic. It's showing new PC builders that you need to have a $100+ power supply to get your computer powered effectively. Which is simply not true.

I'm not an engineer but damn it when I use a product and its been good to me time and time again, I will continue to use and even recommend the product.

Yeah, the stock cooler is fine and the NH-L12S is even better.
What are your specs and temps? If you haven't already used the system, you can see how the temps are before deciding on whether or not to get more fans.

Tadej Danev reacted to WoodenMarker in CPU Cooler Performance Tier List
Those temps are fine and the stock case fans should be plenty for cooling. I'd recommend installing it in the case and seeing what temps are then.
You can always decide to get more fans later if you're not satisfied with the cooling.
