Vitamanic got a reaction from shaz2sxy in I want to participate in the verified gamer thing to get a graphics card at MSRP...then sell it
I feel like LMG bulk buying cards, denying regular buyers (gamers) the opportunity to purchase them at retail and then creating preferential treatment for their fan base is just as obnoxious as the resellers themselves.

Why is LMG, a for-profit company, asking people to work for them for free? Are they in such financial distress that they can't afford to give their worker's even a minimum wage?

Easiest solution is a HDMI cable with a built in upscaler. Something like this:

Make sure you don't have the SNES Jr (mini model).

There are definitely more elaborate and better ways to go about it, but those cables are by far the easiest plug an play solution that don't cost an arm and a leg.

It's completely out of hand and needs to be addressed. If you factor in all of the other crypto currencies... Jesus Christ. It has to be something like 4 times as much.

As far as fees go... it's kind of ironic that one of the main arguments for crypto used to be avoiding exploitative fees from the financial institutions. Now all the fees for crypto faaaaar outweigh fees that a typical consumer faces with their bank.

Yes, getting daily POS totals isn’t rocket science for a retail worker.

The thing you don’t grasp here is that a single store’s revenue for a day means absolutely nothing when you don’t know the entire chain’s costs or trends. Rent, wages, debts, profit margins, shipping costs and a plethora of other information is missing from the picture.

To assume you can extrapolate how well a national chain is doing based off of a daily register total in one store is absurd.

Read my above reply. I don’t have a vendetta, I have common sense. Rando customers and floor employees have zero access to Micro Center’s financial situation since they’re a private company. This isn’t a difficult concept to understand.

"Optimize iPhone storage" in photos settings. It's the third option from the top. If you run out of space it deletes the full res videos and photos and leaves behind 720p~ highly compressed versions. If you're connected to the internet when you view the compressed version it will auto download the original so you can view it in original detail.

Yes, there's an option to do exactly that on the phone. Once you run out of space it will keep the cloud backups and remove them locally.

I would suggest getting headphones from actual audio companies, not gaming accessory or software makers.

That said, you'll need a dedicated mic if you go the bluetooth route on your computer since using the headphone's built-in mic will drop the codec to low bitrate mono.

You have a 16 thread CPU. Games don't max 16 threads, so that's expected that it's not showing 100% usage. If you check individual threads you will see at least one getting pegged at 100% if the processor is the bottleneck and that's all that matters.

As far as your GPU not capping out, that's also expected at 1440p. You're going to be CPU bound in those circumstances for most games with a card like the 3090.

Sure there's a risk of cancer with burns and the resulting scar tissue. But that's a function of the burn itself, not the radiation.

We're exposed to all sorts of non ionizing radiation 24/7 that poses no threat whatsoever. FM radio towers, OTA TV, cordless phones, TV remotes, light bulbs, etc etc. If wide band radiation was a danger, the entire earth would already be flooded with mutants by now since radio and the aforementioned items have been in use for a very long time. Not to mention the bombardment from that spectrum we get hit with via space.

Most probably not, but as always with science the only clear answer you will ever get is that all humans that have lived have at one point died.

From cancer.org, bolded text for emphasis.

    And further, also from cancer.org

And we can dig further into the reasarch hole and in the end we get to the conclusion that microwave radiation (at the levels you daily get exposed to in an average person) correlation to cancer is very weak but not 100 % conclusive.
