Why do you still ignore multiple question about your budget? How much are you willing to spend? Without knowing that it's kinda hard to help you. Assuming your budget is on the lower side, there's this https://www.amazon.com/VELOCIFIRE-TKL02-Mechanical-Copywriters-Programmers/dp/B07K424CGZ/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=velocifire&qid=1593271523&sr=8-1&th=1

Thanks for the correction. I was talking about cherry browns, but worded that very poorly.

There are silenced Brown versions of both Gateron and Box Browns. Though I can't remember seeing a prebuilt with either.
Do you have a budget?
-
prince10bee reacted to nox_ in I'm looking for a specific keyboard
Not sure what you mean by that, but silenced/dampened versions of the browns does not exist afaik.
@prince10bee You are looking for a wireless board then? Also, what's the budget? There is this with silent reds : https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=3564

look for keyboards with silent red switches.
if you want a tactile feedback (bump), go for quiet or damped brown switches.

Good luck with the sale!
I do many for fun builds with hopes of turning a small profit. Many i just break even on from impatience.

I think you could save some money on the motherboard and case fans, that should give you some extra room in your budget to play around with. The PSU you picked is absolute overkill as well. You do not need 750W PSU if your output is going to be 400W estimated. I took your build and made some tweaks to it:

The SSD will be your systems and applications drive while the HDD will be your main footage/editing drive. The 7200rpm drive should be able to handle the footage (unless you are working off of high end cinema cams). We edit 10bit 422 GH5 footage on 7200rpm drives and haven't found any issues with it.
If you want something faster, then I would take out the HDD, get a bigger SSD and get an external RAID 0 drive like this:

Hope this helps!

Mr. TwoCents has entered the discussion. It's technically a build video and not a review, but Jay does what Jay does best, digressing from the norm.

prince10bee got a reaction from espr3ss0 in How wipe everything & install Windows 10 ?
Yes that should be a safe method of installation. The Windows installer has drive and partition tools and it should also automatically register as well since it on the same system. I've had to do the same thing... broken Windows recovery option.

The 1961 Goldsboro B-52 crash is my favorite. It's scary but funny. The impressive part is that they can design nuclear bombs to not detonate after falling 9k'.

Metal Gear Solid, if I recall correctly. I was 5, had no idea what I had to do, and the music scared me shitless.

they disable certain sata ports that cant be used. My SSD is already boot priority.
Not to be rude but the statement you made just seems you didn't read the first sentence. "So I use a M2 ssd and i'm trying to "figure out which sata ports are disable"

Thermal paste (especially the stuff used by OEMs) is usually good for like 10+ years. That board is new enough that you shouldn't need to re-paste the VRM/chipset heatsinks. I've only done that on motherboards from 2009.
As for the CPU, what cooler are you running, what voltage, what are your max temps after a 10-minute run of Prime95 small FFT, what thermal paste are you using?

I'd be perfectly content with 6th gen i7. I wouldn't upgrade for quite a while.
-
prince10bee reacted to Epimetheus in Upgrade the i7 6700K or not ?
There's no saying when you'll need to upgrade, just do it whenever you feel like the performance isn't satisfying anymore for you. The logical step for your next cpu will obviously be like an 8 core cpu to make it last many more years, but there's no say of what products will be out by the time you upgrade
