  1. Congrats to all! Woot, moved up 90-ish places from last year. Upping my CPU in my main rig really wasn't enough to bring it home this time. I believe if I could have run all of my GPUs with full PCIE bandwidth and more cores, I would have been much closer to top 10. Alas, these darn PCIE risers handicap my 11 GPUs. I just freed up some Zen+ parts (CPU + Mobo), instead of selling them, they may be rolled into next year's folding equipment.
  2. OK this is all good info, thanks. I am running 1x risers and unfortunately am stuck with it for now (as this is the only time of year these machines will be folding). What doesn't make sense to me is why the one rig is only getting (celeron + 2gpu) <30k points. The CPU is not maxed out, and starts at 500-600k for the first few days. Last year, I ran this same processor with 8 GPUs and averaged around 100k per GPU. Now I'm barely getting 15k per GPU on this 2 rig system. I'm contemplating putting the 2 cards back into my 8 rig system and returning it to 10 GPUs, as I was getting
  3. Hi All, I am participating in the October FAH competition and I have been struggling for close to a week with low PPD #s that come on after weeks of solid PPD and have not corrected themselves in time or regardless of new jobsr. My stats and some history. Rig 1 - 8x GPUs, i7 6700k - Was getting 1.8 - 2.2 mil PPD, now topping out around 600k PPD Rig 2 - 2x GPUs, celeron g3930 - Was getting a stable 600k PPD, now topping out around 15k PPD Rig 3 - 1x GPU, Ryzen 2700x I had a 10 GPU mining rig. I installed a 6700k here to add more c
  4. Much appreciated! I did see the badge by my name after I had posted, but I couldn't tell if that was from last year or as a result of signing up this year. Thanks for confirming that. I wasn't able to find the leader board from last October, but I was I able to find my stats from last year which will help me apply for the badges. Thanks so much for your time and help, have a great day!
  5. Hi All, I am kind of a forum noob, but I was here for the folding event last year and I'm back again for 2020. I have a question regarding the 2019 folding event. Is the leader board from last year recorded anywhere? I believe I had qualified for the forum badge (I was somewhere around #200 at the end), but I wanted to see if I could find my score to verify that I had indeed met the qualifications. If anyone can help, I appreciate your time!
  6. Whelp, better luck next year for me.#207 AMD seems to be way behind NVIDIA when it comes to FAH. My primary rig had the cores necessary to utilize the GPU (Ryzen 2700x w/ 1x RX 580) and averaged 400-500k PPD. Unfortunately, what I thought would be my ace in the hole - my 6 GPU cryptomining rig - was severely bottlenecked by the CPU. It only runs a dual core Celeron to save on power. I was desperately looking for something I could swap out the CPU with on the cheap (wanted to find a 6th or 7th gen Intel CPU for cheap), but kept losing my bids on Ebay. Next year </3
  7. This looks fun! Will give my rigs a 30 day break from Ethereum ?
