  1. sitting at 80$ on amazon, might be really hard to pass up
  2. so i work in a call center and the headsets they supply are 100% garbage. i tried to use my corsair void headset ( https://us.amazon.com/dp/B0178ADP7E/ref=dp_prsubs_1 ) but since it needs a driver or something i cant use them. system admins say no :(... so i need something else, looking for over ear headphones with mic (again working call center so the better the quality the better), with a 3.5mm audio and 3.5mm voice jack, since i dont want to take the chance of USB headphones not working. budget is $100-150 and again i think mic quality needs to be pretty high. bonus points if it has an auto
  3. if anyone happens to care, i talked to a design consultant and they asked way more questions than the small questionnaire they have. he suggested the embody gaming chair. which looks like a much better fit than the ones they showed me. long story short. if you are spending the money, go ask the people that know the industry and not LTT forums lol jk love you guys and gals!!! https://store.hermanmiller.com/gaming-chairs/herman-miller-x-logitech-g-embody-gaming-chair/2517590.html?lang=en_US
  4. thats what i was thinking, but wasnt sure if they support big people like me. i know they are the best or one of the best, just really wasnt sure if it fit us fat guys lol
  5. the chair i am currently using is this... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NXXBRMQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 i am a big guy and need a big guy chair. my main problem with chairs is the width. i have big legs and normal chairs dig into my thighs, but this chair fits my legs wonderfully. my problems with this chair is the back rest. its angled at like 70° and it makes it very uncomfortable. im starting a new work at home job and need something better for support. i dont plan on buying a new chair for a month or 2, so price really isnt a problem, tho id really lik
  6. yeah its basically an A+ tier, S- tier... (those that barely made it into that tier will be in orange) and the b550 tomahawk was orange. so would it be better to spend a little more and get a better board, or it its good enough since i dont really need anything crazy. also, people that have used the board for the past few months, do they still support the board as a S- tier.
  7. so newegg shuffle has a b550 tomahawk for 140$ after discount. is the board worth 140$? plan to run a 5800x unless i can find a 5900x at a good price when i go to microcenter. 3600 cl16 memory, rtx 3080. might do some slight overclocking, unless PBO just gives great results. heres the https://www.newegg.com/msi-mag-b550-tomahawk/p/N82E16813144326?Item=N82E16813144326 thanks
  8. yeah, im not going until next week, but im hoping they get some 5900x in stock. and back to the 5600x vs 5800x i was thinking since the 5600x is 10-15% faster than a 3600, that it might be enough. but i think im gonna try for a 5900x and if they dont have one when i go, then ill get the 5800x. thanks for the info
  9. Budget (including currency): 600 Country: US Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: ark, cyberpunk, no mans sky, kenshi, live streaming (OBS) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): ok so i have a acer X243W (165hz 1080), rx 5700, 32 gb 3600 mem. my plan is to upgrade mobo and cpu and give my current b450 tomahawk and 3600 to the Mrs. so she can game better with me. what im trying to figure out is should i get 56
  10. no i wasnt saying the smart watch had to not have the fitness features, i was just saying the fitness features didnt matter. also battery time really doesnt matter, as long as it last roughly 12-14 hours (i know they last days) then that would be enough. thanks for the info
  11. i think linus mentioned something like this when he first started talking about it, and then said it wouldnt be worth it. all that extra time and effort getting hardware, testing, cleaning, reselling.
  12. looking for a smart watch for my girl. she doesnt need anything over powered. fitness tracking doesnt matter. she wants to be able to read/reply to messages (facebook if possible and SMS) control music, she uses youtube music, and could take a bit of a beating since she works in a warehouse. other perk could be GPS (or at least reading GPS info from the phone) but isnt something i would pay an extra 30-40$ for. ive watched a few youtube videos, but they really suck, and it really just seems like a few are being talked about, but we dont want to spend 300$ on a watch. figured $150ish would be a
  13. see i was thinking that too, but im also worried that they change something. if you read my post where i say "i know it will sound crazy, but i got replacement covers for my current headphones, and they changed the sound so much i put the old ones back on" that really keeps me from wanting to get the same set. also, i know what i have isnt the best, and i have the extra money so y not upgrade to something better since i have to replace them anyways. i appreciate your input.
  14. i knew you threw this out as a suggestion, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L8DD2MW/ref=sspa_dk_detail_5?psc=1&smid=A6EGA15UEFYEQ&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExNjAxTFk0RkhNRE00JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMTgzMTIwM01VWEswVlJSTDY3UCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNTU3MTIxMjJKU0lRWExLOU02QyZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2RldGFpbDImYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl would this be a good deal? 20$ coupon, and comes with a mic that plugs into the headset for 140$. or would it be a better choice to go with Sennheiser or Beyerdynamic's and see what i can find there? like i said i dont know a lot about au
  15. but you have to take into account that you are a canadian, so idk how much i can put into what you suggest... lol jk. thank you for the recommendation. i really wish i could test headphones. i know it will sound crazy, but i got replacement covers for my current headphones, and they changed the sound so much i put the old ones back on. i just dont want to spend 100-200$ and get something im not happy with.
