    I’d pull the 960 off your old rig and put it in this until you can afford a new gpu.

    for mobo, i suggesting msi meg z390 god like, have 6 sata +3 m.2+u.2(optane), total 10 port for storage (can share bandwith too). Supports RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5 and RAID 10 for SATA storage devices, RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID5 for M.2 PCIe storage devices. this mobo support PSU  with 2x eps connector. have more usb port too.

    x390 aorus master have better vrm, great choice if you want reach your i9 9900k to get @5 Ghz. 5 Ghz all core can make high performance when rendering. make sure you need premium cooler on $100++ price, like noctua nhd-15
     
    SATA  storage should be 7200 RPM, 5400 RPM to slow.
     
    power supply is not good for 500w-+ power consumption.
    better you find some 650w 80+ gold with big name, like seasonic,corsair,thermaltake or be quiet.
