My first custom watercooling details
GregX replied to Aaralli's topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
I would not recommend to pursue with trying to reuse the radiator from the Corsair H150i Pro with a Hydro X custom cooling build. It's aluminum based radiator and doesn't have the G1/4'' threading needed for typical custom cooling fittings. 280mm radiator offers plenty of surface area but it will depend on which CPU and/or GPU you are trying to cool. For a beginner I would warmly recommend to try the Hydro X Configurator. -
Not a lot of performance reviews available but I've found these two. XG7 on Igor's LAB (German) https://www.igorslab.de/corsair-hydro-x-xg7-gpu-wasserblock-gegen-eine-geforce-rtx-2080-ti-mit-380-watt-einstand-gelungen/2/ XC9 on Techpowerup https://www.techpowerup.com/review/corsair-hydro-x-series-xc9-rgb-cpu-water-block/

Hi! The XS variant definitely doesn't have a reference PCB design. It's quite unique PCB so there are very small odds that there is/will be a compatible full cover GPU water block that would fit the XS Ventus. Non-XS variant has a compatible full cover GPU water block. The Hydro X Series XG7 RGB 20-SERIES GPU Water Block (2080 FE Rev.B)

Corsair custom loop and Gygabyte GPU block ?
GregX replied to mysha's topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
Hi! On the product page of the AORUS GeForce RTX™ 2080 Ti XTREME WATERFORCE WB 11G there is a mention it's a copper base plate. It also uses standard fitting type G1/4". It's OK to use this water block model with Corsair Hydro X loop. Which particular make and model of the power supply do you have? With good models, 850W is plenty for your planned water cooling loop. -

Hi! I've got some good news. Hydro X Series XG7 RGB 10-SERIES GPU Water Block (1080 Ti FE) is compatible with the Zotac Gtx 1080 Ti Blower Edition Rev.B. Attached are the images of PCBA, installed GPU water block and backplate. -
Hi, since you are considering the RGB version, you may want to check the new Hydro X Series by Corsair. Reviews should be up by the end of this week.
